Clean, cozy and friendly. The building was very antique and historic place of the back in the days. Starbucks is in the ground floor, Carrefour is just across the sidewalk. And Ningxa night market is just 5-10 mins by foot (this is the main reason I choose here) , Taipei station is also close( But you have to take bus or taxi). Staff were all friendly and helpful. Nice experience.

Overall, pretty good. Would recommend staying here. The location is quite convenient, with numerous bus stops right outside. There are plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner nearby, plus a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart downstairs. However, a crucial heads-up: **definitely bring earplugs!** The air conditioning unit is extremely loud, making it impossible to sleep without them. Additionally, the shower curtain in the bathroom was moldy, so be mindful if you plan on using it.

had a wonderful experience staying at Palais de Chine Hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and luxurious with excellent amenities. The service was top-notch—staff were courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of both Western and Asian options, all fresh and delicious. Location-wise, the hotel is ideally situated with easy access to Taipei Main Station and shopping centers, making it very convenient for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, Palais de Chine offers a refined and relaxing stay in the heart of Taipei. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, style, and great hospitality.

We’ve got a free upgrade from the hotel, it was very nice of them The room is clean and the toilet has smart toilet with is super friendly for us Malaysian, but please be minded that they only provide body wash, travellers must prepare their own amenities One thing bad is just the pillows, they are too soft. My neck is super painful when I wake up Location wise, is literally the best! Short walking distance (approx 2-3mins) to the MRT Daqiaotou Station, and there is a convenience store right below the hotel, there is also some breakfast spots downstairs, must try their 蛋餅!

Love the place. Very spacious and located in a quiet neighbourhood. Staff were friendly too and responsive. Night market is ＜10mins walk away so have plenty of food options. Location is quite far from Zhongshan mrt (~15mins walk) but will stay again if price is good.

The room was clean and comfortable, with convenient transportation. I booked it on the spur of the moment and thought it was quite nice. I would consider staying here again. The only downside was that there was a step up to the room (? Because it was a bit high, it was easy to fall if you weren't careful. I think it's a bit dangerous. I suggest putting a warning to remind guests. 🥺

The location is located near Dadaocheng Park. There happens to be an underground parking lot in the park, so there is no need to find a parking place. Although it is a bit difficult to find in the alley, the overall environment is not bad, and the store's service attitude is also very good, but there are shortcomings. The sound insulation is a bit poor. If someone goes upstairs in the room, they can hear the sound of stepping on the stairs. It takes about 8 minutes to walk to Dihua Street, which is quite convenient.

It is an amazing hotel for the price. It is a 10 minutes walk distance from Taipei main station, it has other connecting train stations near as well bus stops, it has an amazing night market at the same street. Staff is kind and you can leave your luggage if you arrive early or leave it there if want to explore more after checkout. It has no breakfast but have water bottles and snacks available all the time. Be aware that the entrance is through an elevator where the gym is advertised, so it is not easily visible. Rooms are as shown in pictures.

Hotel was located about 10minutes from the Taipei main station. This is my second time staying here, and frankly was a little disappointed. The fire alarm kept going off and apparently it was due to the fault of the alarm. The staff were nice and apologetic but the alarm kept going off even at 12am which affected sleep quality.

The Hostel was cleaned, not to far from MRT red Line just only 2 staion from taipei staion, Infont of the hotel have one famous resturant, There have long Q for waiting.
