Taipei Songshan District Hotels

Great location for what we needed - which was to be as close to Taipei Arena as possible. The room, although renovated, was rather underwhelming for the price we paid. Couple of issues I had was that only one pillow was provided per person and the air conditioning was not cold enough despite adjusting the thermostat.

We are very impressed with this hotel. Design is modern and pleasant. Facilities are new and sufficient. Staff are friendly and helpful. Most importantly the bed is super comfy. Free snacks and drinks are refillable daily. Nearby there’s a market with great local food. This is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in Taipei so far. Will be back again!

Super nice and quiet hotel. Prime location that's just a few minutes walk away from Raohe Night Market. It's also a quick walk away from the train and metro station. The room is clean, only quirky part is that the basin/sink is outside of the toilet (i.e. in the room on the long desk table). But no issues with that at all. Even though it's near Raohe Night Market, it's behind it, so it's definitely not noisy. You can get good quality sleep at night. No worries at all. Will definitely recommend this hotel for those that want to stay in a prime location when visiting Taipei.

Love the stay there! I was impressed from the decor at the lobby to the service from the front office and of course the room I was staying with beautiful sunlight got into the bathroom, I had a great stay to have a ME Day there, enjoy all in-room amenities that has to offer. However unfortunately didn’t have time to try out the breakfast buffet, definitely will give a try in my next stay! 😇

The staff are very helpful and polite. The hotel is very near the train station. Not sure about the facilities and food as we are out most of time.

City Suites Taipei is close to Rahoe Market walking distance to MRT station, convenience store, and 20minutes away to Taipei 101. Rooms are very clean but our room was located at Basement 3 so No window. 🙁

While the room wasn't huge, it was spotlessly clean. The location is excellent, directly opposite the Songshan MRT Station exit and just a short walk from the Raohe Street Night Market. However, there were no slippers provided, toiletries cost 30 NTD, and the breakfast was extremely basic, offering only light, healthy options.

This was my first stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Taipei. The hotel is clean, and the room is quite spacious. Every evening, we'd return to find my used skincare products on the vanity neatly arranged, and even my charging cables coiled and tidily placed on the desk. The staff's attention to detail and organizational skills were truly impressive. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for grabbing breakfast or exploring the surrounding area. I didn't have time to use the facilities, but I'm sure they're just as excellent. Overall, a great experience!

The hotel is just okay — nothing special. What I really appreciated was how close it is to the metro, which made getting around super convenient. However, one major downside was the lack of hot water. We had to take cold showers during the cooler months, which was really uncomfortable. That definitely took away from the overall experience.

Great location and great breakfast. You can see Taipei 101 from their room and the famous local cake shop - Chiate is 5 mins walk away. Arena Mrt station is only 6 mins walk. We stayed there on 30 Dec to 1 Jan in which the room rate was more expensive but still worth paying for watching the fireworks at Taipei 101. The service was good with helpful staff at the counter and breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.
