There were many hot spring inns in this area that caught my eye, and I had several as candidates, but after considering my travel itinerary, budget, and the hot springs' reviews, I decided to stay here. A week or so later, there was a heavy snowfall, which was difficult, but we were blessed with good weather in between, and the roads were clear, but it was a perfect time to enjoy the snowy scenery around. The water is not particularly distinctive, but it is a completely free-flowing spring, and the quality and freshness of the water is good. You can cool down in the warm water in the indoor bath, so you can enjoy the hot spring for a long time in the alternating baths. The open-air baths and private baths are not spectacular because they are covered, but the number of baths makes it a good change of pace. The food is particularly noteworthy. I chose a plan that offered double steaks from a certain website, and I was surprised to see two Hida beef miso teppanyaki dishes lined up for each person. (Thanks to that, I was able to eat it separately as an appetizer and a final course.) The standard tempura was served fresh, and the trout was served as sashimi, and the other small dishes were all delicious. The rice was also delicious, and I had rice for breakfast. There were some negative comments in the old posts, but I didn't find any bad aspects, including the customer service. I would like to stay at this inn again if I have the opportunity.
