Jas Hotel Takayama

The accommodation is near the old town area where people take pictures. Walk a little bit and you will find it. The accommodation is located on the top of the hill next to the road. You have to walk up a steep path. The lights will be on only when you walk past. Driving + raining, you can't see the accommodation sign. You can park and drop off your bags on the walkway. There is free parking, but you have to drive past and park at the parking lot near the accommodation about 50m (on the road). You have to park in the parking lot with the hotel name only. The parking lot has no lights, you have to shine. The auntie who is guarding is cute. The shoe cabinet has the name of the person who booked the reservation clearly. It is not clear which slippers to wear. The shoe cabinet is very large. The shower room is open all the time. There are clear separation between men and women. The bathroom is a mixed gender. The room I booked is a Japanese style room. It will be small. The paper window is torn. The light outside the street shines into the room brightly. There is a opaque window at the exit door, which makes the light in front of the room shine even more. People who don't like bright rooms might not be able to sleep well. But the room with a bed doesn't seem to have a light hole like this (I secretly saw the room next door). The cleanliness is only clean in the areas that are used. The area behind the refrigerator and the TV stand is dusty. Fortunately, there are a lot of tissues, so I can use them to wipe. It is a good price and the location is not bad. The hair dryer is very strong.

I booked a Japanese-style tatami room, two large and two small. The area is small, but it's okay to lie down. Japanese rooms are very clean. Public restrooms and public bathrooms are very novel to the children. The location is quite good, very close to the old street and Jinya. No breakfast served.

It was clean and comfortable. The large public bath was also very nice.

We had lunch as a group in this hotel. The setting is dated and the establishment is not easily accessible on foot. The meal was cold, not very filling and had very little taste. In summary, to avoid... there are so many good Takayama restaurants.
