The people are very nice, and the place is well located. The cleaning is done regularly and there is a person watching the entrance 24h. However, you may want to know that if you book a room without a bathroom, there are only two bathrooms with toilets for the entire hostel (30 people). Additionally, all the bathrooms are in very poor condition, the water pressure is weak, and the shower basins let water spill onto the floor. There are cockroaches; it's infested. In the dorms, there is no storage, not enough sockets for everyone, and no AC. I've stayed in many hostels before, and this one was just disappointing for some points.

Very convinient place and the owner is very friendly. The best option if you are on a budget and want to stay in Tarrafal. I have stayed on a private room which was good. The athmosphere is nice so at is the staff. The kitchen had all i needed to use it so this was definitely a plus.

This place is great.Its the second time that I stayed there.Friendlyness all over..everything so clear and clean..The owner is half Capeverdian/American ,speaks all the languages and is very helpful and take care.For the quality you get this is the best deal in Tarrafal.
