📍 Cidade do, Tarrafal

"Modern, well-equipped and functional apartments. Right next to Tarrafal beach. For those peaceful holidays with flip-flops on! Just grab your towel and go down a small ramp. The restaurant is fantastic. You can eat with a wonderful view over the beach. Definitely worth coming back for."

The accommodation matched photos, featuring: - Pool - Bar - Restaurant - Prime location - we bought the ticket to celebrate new year's eve with locals which was lovely! 📍 Rua dos Correios (Entre CV Telecom e Farmácia Tarrafal), Tarrafal

"The people are very nice, and the place is well located. The cleaning is done regularly and there is a person watching the entrance 24h. However, you may want to know that if you book a room without a bathroom, there are only two bathrooms with toilets for the entire hostel (30 people). Additionally, all the bathrooms are in very poor condition, the water pressure is weak, and the shower basins let water spill onto the floor. There are cockroaches; it's infested. In the dorms, there is no storage, not enough sockets for everyone, and no AC. I've stayed in many hostels before, and this one was just disappointing for some points."

Oasis Tarrafal Alfandega Suites ★★★★
"Everything is great and clean, the food is excellent and the staff are very friendly, right on the beach. We really loved it!! The land is not very busy but the oasis and the beach more than make up for it. Be careful, there are restaurants nearby that will give you a stomach ache (stork)."

"I am only speaking about the restaurant, we were seduced by the menu board in the street and its meat and fish offerings at very reasonable prices, in addition the dining room is very clean with beautiful furniture and a superb atmosphere (large television with light sound), the menu is also partly in French or languages other than Portuguese. Shrimp for my wife and octopus for me, good choice and good pick, it is tasty, plentiful and well presented and above all served hot, rare for the country!!! Service with a smile and typical local drink: boabab juice "bissap", a real treat. Little-known establishment but worth eating there without moderation."
