The room is much more compact than expected. The single bed in the standard room is equivalent to the domestic spa bed. It is so narrow that it will fall off at any time if you accidentally turn over. The quilt also caters to the size of the bed, which is very narrow. The big bed room is acceptable.

I had a comfortable stay in a beautiful house that looked like it came out of a fairy tale, with the kind hospitality of the owner Elia and the staff Anna. I would definitely stay here again next time I come to Tbilisi. Thank you for giving me good memories.

My stay at the Hotel Imperial House in Georgia left much to be desired. While I appreciated the helpfulness of the information desk staff who assisted me with a currency converter – that was a genuine plus – the rest of the experience was unfortunately subpar.
For two travelers, the complete absence of room service during our entire stay was a significant letdown and certainly not what one expects from a hotel. To add to this, my request to have the bed split into two single beds prior to our arrival was completely ignored. This oversight impacted our comfort and overall experience.
While the location might have its merits, the lack of essential services and unfulfilled requests make it difficult to recommend the Hotel Imperial House. I hope they take these points into consideration for future guests.

The hotel located at halfway up the hill, about 25 min walk from Liberty Square. However, the hotel room is spacious and the hotel owner is kind and helpful. Also 2 supermarkets near the hotel.
I would recommend this hotel to those who don’t mind to walk the distance. Good 👍

Pros:
- of course the location, all the sights of old Tbilisi are within walking distance
- friendly staff
- decent normal breakfast
Cons:
- very small room, you can't even open a suitcase
- there is not a single wardrobe for clothes
- cleaning of the room leaves much to be desired
As a result, for $100 per night it is expensive, if around $50 then of course the hotel is normal

If you want a taste of Georgia, this hotel may be just the place for you.
It’s located in an atmospheric old residential neighbourhood of twisty streets and steep climbs. If you know cities like Hong Kong, Istanbul or Belgrade, you’ll be familiar with this. You can walk it easily from the Central Railway Station. Otherwise the 368 bus will bring you most of the way.
The hotel is pleasantly decorated and has a large verandah with a nice view over the city for breakfast or an evening drink. In season, they have a mangal (a traditional barbecue) and live music in the evenings.
The room was clean and comfortable. It had everything I would expect including a small fridge and TV. A kettle, tea and coffee would also be nice.
For me the highlight was breakfast. It's a buffet of homely sweet and savoury Georgian dishes made freshly by the owner, including eggs, salads and traditional small, thick pancakes with sour cream.
If you’re looking for traditional hotel comforts you’ll find them here, with warmth and an authentic local twist.

Amazing
GGregArshinovThis place is a must if you want to save money while still enjoying good service and clean suite. I and my friend stayed there for a week. We enjoyed Tamara and Georgi’s hospitality: they greeted us with homemade wine and offered assistance in finding our way around Tbilisi. Overall experience was pleasant. We also liked the location: it’s only 5 min walk to metro station and 7 min walk to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, an amazing piece of traditional Georgian architecture.
Thank you, Tamara & Georgi!
GGuest UserExcellent hotel with a beautiful view of the city from the room. Many thanks to the chef for the delicious breakfasts, every day the food was varied and special thanks for her beautiful smile and friendliness! The hotel is interested in the comfort of guests, they respond to requests as responsively as possible. Thank you for your hospitality)
GGuest UserPros:
- the room is big, clean and well equiped
- very comfortable mattress
- the owners are friendly and helpful
- there is a rooftop where you can see the whole city (it seems to be under construction)
- breakfast is simple but had everything we need (just missed the Georgian Bread though)
I have no cons, just some observations:
- the hotel is in an steep area (I think is not easy for elderly people), but you can always use Bolt
- 15 minutes walk from the begining of the central area
- Wifi was very unstable on cellphones, but worked perfectly on my laptop.
It is a very good place to stay in Tbilisi.
ZZyrk.Pros: The hotel is in a great location, close to major tourist attractions, and is budget-friendly. The manager, Roman, is kind and friendly. The sheets were clean, and the room was generally well-maintained.
Cons: The walls are quite thin, so you may hear noise from neighbors and the street at night. The toilets could be cleaner.
Overall: A great budget-friendly hotel with good value for money.
GGuest UserHotel location is good, not far from the lively neighborhood, the nearest exchange store to the hotel is very good, is the best exchange rate I found in Tbilisi, is the stone road in front of the door is not easy to walk, and if the hotel has more guests, the sound insulation is not good. On the last day of my stay, there were a few foreign countries that came back in the middle of the night. After I came back, the children in the house called, and the adults made a noise. I basically didn't sleep much all night. When the day was almost dawn, they slept. The quality was too bad! The front desk service is still good, and I knocked on the door to remind them, but I can't stand the quality of those people! If you sleep lightly, please consider this for friends who are afraid of trouble.
DDramaI had a wonderful experience at the Hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway. The downtown area on Main Street is a best kept secret and the offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out. Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!
AAnonymous UserI like the location bc it’s so comfortable to reach tourist attractions
I’d like the hotel worries about labels and directions inside them bc it was not so easy to find our room at floor
But it’s good especially for a short stay
GGuest UserThe room was clean and easy to spend, and the view from the hotel was good. The shower room is equipped with a body soap bottle.
It seems that Carrefour can be next to it.
JJessa MartyRoom was very clean, spacious, and safe. The room itself is very chic and if your an aesthetic person, you would love it. Location is very accessible to everything. Around 10-15 mins of walking to a metro station and, likewise, to the nearest mall. The only downside of this is the amenities. No elevator and no bidet but its not a thing for european countries so expect it in all hotels and apartments but they have washing machine and a flat iron
SSusanThis review is actually for Green Inn because that’s where I was put. The location is great. The room is nice and comfortable.
There is no service. Nobody told me anything about the hotel ie. when and where breakfast are. Housekeeping is useless. Someone came into my room everyday but did nothing useful...never made the bed, never took away the garbage, never replaced the tea.The only thing she did everyday was take the towels out of the bathroom which I found annoying. Everyday after coming back and washing my hands, I had to go searching for a new towel with hands dripping. I would have much rather nobody come in but there wasn’t a do not disturb sign.
