It’s a beautiful property with extremely friendly staff , the cleanliness is immaculate and the food is fantastic! I especially loved the interactions and customer service experiences from Mr. Kannaiah , Bharathi Raja , Anand and Jesuraj . It’s in the city centre and just 5 minutes from the Big Temple .

Sangam is a pleasant hotel with friendly staff, fresh food, and clean rooms, making it a solid choice for family vacations. Everything we ate in the restaurant was fresh and delicious. We had booked an Executive room and specified a King bed through a travel site, but were given a twin bed instead. It seemed the hotel was fully booked and couldn't accommodate our request, though the allotted room itself was quite spacious. There are, however, areas for improvement. Service management in the restaurant needs attention, particularly during breakfast, when it appeared short-staffed. This resulted in noticeable delays and confusion with orders. For example, one morning we requested a dosa but were mistakenly served an omelet. While we accepted it, such errors should be avoided. Additionally, there was some confusion with billing, with a discrepancy of around Rs. 400. After 20 minutes of trying to resolve the issue, we decided to pay the difference and move on. Housekeeping also left room for improvement; we found dust on the cupboards, and the bathroom drain was clogged. Despite these minor issues, our overall experience was very positive, and we would certainly recommend this hotel.

Reception staff are great especially Mahesh and Sweta Madam who went out of their way to help out. Food is very bad and service in the restaurant sub standard. No waitstaff come and ask you if you want any dish. It appears to me that they look after foreigners and not locals. Will not stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights. Rooms were large and very comfortable and were extremely well maintained. It feels like a good quality Indian 4 star property. Our group had 15 rooms and all of us were happy. We had 2 dinners at the Thillana restaurant plus 2 breafasts and found the food to be fresh with lots of choices. Great Degree coffee.. The front desk staff were helpful in organizing tuk tuks to visit the Brihadeshwara Temple at night. I feel the Hotel is a 4 star but the food and service are 5 star. We were very pleased overall.

I had a wonderful stay at Sangam Hotels, Tanjore. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. The hotel’s ambiance reflects the rich culture of Tanjore, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the stay was impressive. The food was delicious, offering a variety of local and international cuisine. A special mention to the staff who went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met with a smile. We had a seamless check-in and check-out experience- Their service was impeccable.

We loved our stay! Sweetaa at the front desk is wonderful and very helpful. Best hotel food yet. We loved the artwork in the restaurant and had a great time visiting the Big Temple which is a short distance away from the hotel. Thank you for a great trip!

A 3 star hotel. Staff helpful. Rooms were ok. Centrally located. Breakfast was decent. Had to change room at 11 pm as ac was not working. Appears to be dependent on group booking of foreign tourists. Pricey. Regular maintenance is required.
