Minang Cove Resort

I was disappointed with this place. Poor quality food cooked by locals. Breakfast v limited option. Feeding time restricted n called by ringing school bells. The staff are a mix bunch of happy and unhappy people it seems judging by their demena. Awan and Jay are lovly people however. The resort beech area is a small alcove,.you can swim n snorkel though little to see. Not much to do in the place..visit to the waterfall is disappointing. Mukut is a local village you can walk to and doesn't require a guide. I was there for 5 days...one towel through out the period and same bedding. We were bitten left right and centre!. On the plus side it's a small resort and quite quaint. The owner us a young person whose has v likeable personality.

Minang Cove is a secluded paradise. The views are spectacular. Accommodation is clustered around a little cove with a golden sandy beach. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Ana was very helpful. The food is relatively simple but good. For those that like a cocktail or a beer the bar is well stocked for sundowners. Sadly the reef around the cove has been impacted by bleaching but some live corals remain and a good range of marine fauna make the snorkelling good. This is a great destination if you simple want to chill out. A range of excursions are also available.

first time coming to a really beautiful, quiet place. suitable for a vacation.. I came for the 3rd wedding anniversary.. after 2 months we returned from the resort.. we husband and wife heard good news.. 3 years we waited for the light of day.. I forgot what is the name of the staff of the spa resort girl? I booked a massage with her after dinner. thank you, the resort has very good staff.. need to appreciate this kind of staff.. many places want good staff.. God willing we will come back with baby.. thank you

We had a wonderful and peaceful time at the resort. The beach is gorgeous and allows for beautiful snorkeling. Diving in the south is outstanding. The staff is incredibly kind and we the food was delicious. We were quite sad to leave the island and the hotel. Thank you to all the staff for the beautiful vacation. Can’t recommend enough.

We just loved our stay here. Stunning views and an amazing private beach with fantastic snorkling. Don't come for the luxury - the rooms are nice big and clean and airconditioned, and the food is good. But nothing extraordinary - it's the place that does it. It's a gem! And of course the staff! Always a smile, always ready to serve you and make you feel at home.

We were so sad to leave Minang Cove today after an amazing vacation. The resort felt very quiet and out of the way and we spent most days just swimming and kayaking and relaxing with cocktails at the beautiful beach. For more adventurous types there is also hiking, snorkeling, boat trips and so on but we were happy to just chill. Our room was comfortable, clean, spacious and the best part was the large balcony overlooking the ocean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We traveled with our toddler son and found the resort very family friendly with high chairs, cribs and toddler sized life vests. The beach is also really kid friendly with very calm, warm water which gets deeper very gradually. We really had an amazing time and considering what we’ve seen of the rest of the island, are 100% certain we picked the best possible place to stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday in a beautiful place far from the crowds I couldn’t recommend Minang Cove Resort more highly.
