Hotel was not clean. The bedding had holes. Dust and grime was everywhere. Safety point wire exposed on hairdryer in bathroom. Staff was unhelpful. At reception the young lady asked me if I know how to use a phone. When her colleague came to check he confirmed that the phone was not working. So rude.

I admit I was surprised by how nice this hotel was. The room featured a huge double bed, complimentary fruit and cookies on plates when I arrived, strong air conditioning, a huge bathroom including a bidet, a large dining room for the complimentary daily breakfast, and helpful staff 24/7 (especially Fiodor). It's about a 25 minute walk to Skandenberg Square and all the sights through a safe and pleasant neighborhood. The hotel clerk at checkout actually saved me from missing my bus since the main bus station was shut down May 1st and all buses now use East Bus Station. However, the taxi driver summoned by the hotel had never heard of it (!) and didn't know where it was. He called the dispatcher and she didn't know either. Fortunately, the hotel clerk knew and told my driver in Albanian how to get there, so I made it in time after all. I'm not impressed with the taxi company they use but I am impressed by the hotel staff's knowledge of the area and thank him for his help. Be aware that the East Bus Station is not walkable--it is several kilometers away by highway, about 20 minutes by taxi. I had originally booked this because it was 2 minutes walk from the main bus station (which may never reopen apparently). In short, this hotel is an excellent value and I recommend it highly. Thanks again to that morning clerk (whose name I did not get) and also to Fiodor.

I wanted to come to Tirana for a very long time. I found out that the country was open for vaccinated travelers, so I jumped at the chance to come to this fascinating and beautiful place. Tirana did not disappoint, as the city is spotless, the malls plentiful, and the WiFi very fast in all of the coffee cafes I visited. My hotel was easy to find, and not too far from the Central Bus Station for Tirana. I walked to the Hotel and found it next to its sister hotel off of one of the large Boulevards that cross the Capitol City. My room was spotless, with nice views of the surrounding neighborhood. My breakfast was delicious, with many Albanian delicacies as well as fresh Latte Macchiatos. I look forward to coming back very soon!

Quiet Hotel. Nice large room with huge bed. Room had fridge, tv and Wi-Fi but no tea or coffee. Wi-Fi was very erratic in the room. Room was a little tired but quite comfortable. It was about a 20 min walk from the main square. We stayed there twice. Saturday night was very loud on the streets of Tirana and this hotel seemed to be away from the noise. Breakfast was quite good.

This hotel was booked for me by my client in Albania. It is clean and rooms are ensuite with good WiFi. The staff are friendly, helpful and some speak good English. Room 301 is tired and in need of decoration. The walls are scuffed and marked, furniture is grubby and the two single beds are hard and uncomfortable. There is only one plug socket in the room and the mini bar is empty - although the fridge was useful. A kettle was provided when asked for but there are no drinks facilities and bottled water is not provided. The room has air-conditioning. The ensuite bathroom is clean but scruffy with cigarette burns on the bathroom cabinet, chipped tiles and dirty grouting. The toilet is on an odd step which is a trip.hazzard. The shower curtain doesn't reach floor level so the shower floods the bathroom whenever it is used. Breakfast is buffet style and is ok but is stocked with the cheapest of ingredients. Food was fresh but it can be described as anything more than ok. My client included dinner in my reservation. I opted to eat out most nights and pay for it myself since there was no choice of food and a low quality canteen style meal was put down in front of me. Last night's meal was green salad, meat nuggets (not sure what meat).and mashed potatoes and ice cream. Overall, the hotel is adequate for an overnight stay but not for an extended stay that I endured. I don't know how much it cost per night but, if it isn't very cheap, my client was ripped off.

Wir waren als Gruppe (23 Personen) und ich hatte ein EZ gebucht. Das Zimmer 112 entspricht der Notruf-Nummer: dreckig, muffig, Lage zur Straße hinter der Leuchtreklame des Hotels, die während der Nacht unentwegt blinkt. An der Rezeption reagierte man mit apathischem Desinteresse und behauptete, dass kein anderes Zimmer frei wäre. Auch in der Folgenacht nicht! Vorsicht bei Zi. 112, hier bekommt man Juckreiz von den Bettwanzen.

Hotel Doro City is een goede keuze. De kamers zijn zonder meer verouderd, weinig stopcontacten, beetje ouderwets badkamertje, maar schoon. Maar een super ontbijt, goed restaurant erbij, en het Skanderbegplein ligt op 20 minuten lopen, shoppingcentre Ring op 5 minuten lopen.
