"Upon arriving at Toba Station a little past 6 PM, we couldn't locate the hotel shuttle bus as advised by the guide. Decided to call the hotel just to try our luck, and to our surprise, they immediately dispatched a private car to pick us up! Service was absolutely impeccable! 💯 The hotel's absolute standout feature has to be its hot springs! ♨️ Especially the unique Pearl Onsen – the only one in Japan infused with Mikimoto pearl powder. My skin felt incredibly soft and glowed after soaking. (A glass of milk after the onsen is a must – incredibly refreshing! *Personally, I prefer the fruit-flavored one.) Room Experience: We booked the most basic Japanese-style room (washitsu) and truly enjoyed the authentic experience of sleeping on traditional tatami mats. Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome cheesecake 🍰 waiting for us in the fridge – absolutely delicious! All toiletries were exclusively Mikimoto branded, adding a definite touch of luxury and quality. (We even bought a set from the hotel shop before leaving – eligible for tax-free shopping!) 🥣 Breakfast was a classic Japanese set meal, served individually with no menu choices. The highlight, however, was the dining environment – private rooms! *Be bold and request a window-side private room. ❤️ Enjoying a refined breakfast in such a private setting, while gazing at the serene ocean view outside, was an incredibly soothing and delightful experience."

"It was good to have a large room with an ocean view and a relaxing room. However, it was very conspicuous that the manners of the public bath users were too bad. Even though there is a ban on the use of tattoos at the entrance, a child who has a tattoos is used, a child who starts a swimming tournament at a hot spring, and a mother who doesn't pay attention to it. We do not recommend using the hot springs around 21:00 after meals. Since there is no key in the shoe locker, I was in trouble because there was no slippers in the building where I put them when I returned. I felt that I would like you to improve the tattoo notes, such as locking the shoe locker."

"I wouldn't recommend staying here. Other than its proximity to JR Toba Station, it has no advantages. It's a short walk from JR Toba Station, and the hotel service is average. When I checked in on the evening of September 8th, the front desk was staffed by an older male. When I asked about the use of the kiri-buri bath, he said it was too late. When I asked about the next day, he said it wasn't available in the morning. Wouldn't it be helpful for the service industry to directly and clearly state the hours between which the baths are available? This is a stark contrast to the Japanese service I experienced during my stay. The room was small and dated, and the toilet didn't flush automatically. The room I was assigned was in the very corner, with no ocean view from the window. The public bath was on the first floor, with a spacious dressing area. The hot tub and showers were traditional in design, but fortunately, it wasn't crowded at night. There was a milk vending machine at the entrance to the public bath, but the only milk was plain white; the others were flavored and sweet. In the lobby, there's a large, shell-carved landscape painting that looks familiar, perhaps from Shandong, China. There's also a Japanese-style tea room, but it all looks a bit dated. There's a pearl counter in the lobby, but it wasn't open, likely due to the lack of guests. The overall experience was not good. The hotel seemed to be in a state of decline and would not last long. If there are other options, I would not recommend choosing this place."

"Although it is far away, it takes half an hour to go up and down the mountain every day. It is the last bus at 6 o'clock in the evening. It is not convenient to have the first bus at 9:55 in the morning, but the scenery is really great. The most cost-effective among the surrounding hotels! You can plan the itinerary in advance."

"Mie Prefecture is a relatively remote and rural place, but Toba, Ise and Shima are still worth visiting. Todaya Hotel exceeded my expectations. Breakfast is on the top floor of the South Building, facing the sea, with a great view. There are also many dining options. Mikimoto Pearl Island and Toba Aquarium are nearby. "Toba seaside hotel stay review (03/10/2025 – 03/13/2025) Toba Seaside Hotel Over-all feeling: Satisfied a. The hotel shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes (hotel and toba (Toba Station), which is very convenient. Every day at 9:07am, there is a bus from the hotel to Ise Jingu (Geigu, Naigu) & Ise City Station. You don't have to transfer at Toba Station, which saves a lot of time. b. (03/10/2025 – 03/13/2025) Stay at NOZOMI (Wangguan), the whole building has been renovated Clean, comfortable. c. Three buildings have three large bathing areas, where you can enjoy a relaxing and pleasant bath. d. Breakfast buffet, because I am a vegetarian, I think the menu is just average. e Toba Bay is a beautiful harbor, where you can sit quietly in front of the window in the evening. Watch. Seabirds flying. The boats are sparkling, and I think of the lines from ”The Preface to the Red Cliff” (”The breeze blows gently, and the water is calm”)... I can't help but feel relaxed and happy. The following are also suggestions: 1. The restaurant only has Japanese dish names. Suggestion: add English. What's funny is that the COFFEE MACHINE is also only in Japanese, which makes people feel at a loss. 2. The shuttle bus sign is only in Japanese. 3. You cannot pay the bill before 7:00 am.
