We surprisingly found this to be a very convenient and charming hotel. It is a bit older, but because of that, it was quite spacious. The bed was large and comfy and there was a good variety of pillows to satisfy the different preferences. It was handy there was a limousine bus to the airport (Narita) right outside the front. Additionally we found out on day 2, there was a basement level that connected us directly to the train lines. Shinbashi station is very centrally located with a variety of subway and train lines, so it's very convenient to get around. The porters were very helpful on check out, and the newspaper service was a nice old school touch. Although older, everything worked. the elevators came promptly, the buttons, key card, air cond, heating, water, etc worked perfectly and were in even better working condition than some of the newer hotels we stayed at during our trip to Japan. Family Mart, Lawson and 7-11 all nearby which is handy and Ichiran 200m away as well. Walkable distance to Ginza's main shopping strip if you're up for it. Additionally, windows with a view - train station and other buildings but it was an open view where you could see the sky. Some other hotels we'd been to, our view was basically the building windows next door.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is one minute walk to Don Quixote, and very close to Ginza Main Street. It has a convenience store Family Mart just below the hotel. Although the room is not so big since its normal in Ginza area, the facilities are complete! Size of shower room is just perfect. What I do not really like is they do not give extra bottles of drinking water even when I asked for it. There is also a massage chair in the room where in you can sit and relax after a long day of walking. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, only a 2 minute walk from the subway. The hotel staff are very kind and helpful, the rooms are clean, and the bed is comfortable. There's also a massage chair in the room, which is great after a long day of walking and exploring the city.

Typical business hotel with expected amenities. Room is small but just big enough to repack a large suitcase. In the pricier side as the location is very convenient. Lot of food options nearby and very close to different rail lines.

It’s close to a convenience store and a train station. The location is great, but the food is even better! A wide variety of foods for everybody to choose from. The beds were very comfy, and the whole room was extremely clean.

Pros: Location was great with just 7-10mins walk to Tokyo Station and there's Kyobashi Station (Ginza Line) just outside the hotel making it easy to access to Shibuya Station. Massage Chair in each room as a replacement of bathtub, came in handy for our aching backs and legs (not for feet) which we used it almost everyday! Cons: Found a strand of hair in the bath towel for 2 days stay. Note there's no washing machine in hotel but they do provide laundry service (chargeable). Bed is situated next to bathroom so lights will be shinning into the bedroom when using the bathroom.

Surprisingly the hotel is quite good! Location is awesome! just 5 mins away from JR station. Close to everywhere!

The hotel is in a good location, located in the central district, with two subway stations nearby [Chikude Station and Shintomicho Station]. It is slightly closer to Chikude Station, about a 10-minute walk. The hotel is not far from Ginza, and can be reached by taking 2 stations from Chikude Station, or by walking for 15 minutes. The hotel lobby is quite grand on the first floor, the room decoration is quite old-fashioned, and the room space is quite large. The only shortcoming is that the toilet in the bathroom is leaking. The sound insulation is good and it does not affect the rest, so there is no feedback to the hotel. The faucet for the bath is separated by a hot and cold switch, which is a bit uncomfortable. The drain of the bathtub is not convenient to clean the hair, and the water is a bit slow to wash the hair. The hotel breakfast has two choices of Japanese and Western, which is a set meal mode, not a buffet style. Overall, the price-performance ratio is still quite high. At this price, there are not many rooms with such spacious space near Ginza. The hotel rooms are on a high floor, and the only highlight is that the exterior view is very beautiful, whether it is day or night. The room we stayed in can see Tokyo Tower, and Mount Fuji can be seen on a higher floor.

Pros - Superb location. You live right above the JR station and the Lawson right under opens for 24 hours. - No serious downsides with a nice room. For the most part it was a nice stay and I'd give a 8/10 overall, so the cons below are a bit nitpicky. Cons - Check in machines. Really hated them and they pop up at every hotel I've stayed recently. Every foreigner I've seen had some problems with them that require manual assistance anyways so check in actually takes more time than when they didn't exist. Not a language barrier problem but more like errors popping up too often. - Slippers are reused. - The side I stayed on faces directly to this building called チョムチョム秋葉原, which in itself isn't a problem. However, it has a hot pot shop on the 5th floor with glass windows all over that opens until 5AM. Staying on the 7th floor, which is the lowest floor possible for this hotel, made it a little uncomfortable to leave the curtains opened at night to an otherwise nice view to wake up to. - The chair in the room has no back support. - One lift doesn't reach the ground floor out of the 3, and I seem to catch that one way more often and had to change lifts on the reception floor most of the time. Overall for the price I paid (about 35000JPY for 2 nights) it's a decent stay compared to my other experiences in Japan. The greatest strength is its 0 minute from JR station and easy access to convenience stores. If these 2 are not your great priorities there are more competitve alternatives around Akihabara.

Hotel is near to Kayabacho and Hatchobori station. Alternatively, you can get to Tokyo station from the bus stop in front of the hotel. If you have booked any day trip and the meet up venue is at Marunouchi station, taking a uber could be a better choice. Our ride cost is around JPY1100 which is not too bad. If you choose to walk back to the hotel from Tokyo station, it will take approx 10 minutes. Room wise, acceptable. Small but considered to be ok for Japan hotels. Front desk service is kinda lukewarm but we did encounter some friendly staff during our stay. Overall this hotel could be one of the options should I return to Tokyo.
