Shinagawa Prince Hotel
8.7 (4,713 reviews)

Shinagawa Prince Hotel ★★★★

📍 4 Chome-10-30 Takanawa, Minato, Tokyo

"The location of the hotel was the best as it is walking distance from Shinagawa station. Room was clean and well organized . I stayed here for the second time in my single visit to Japan , and that explains that the hotel was very good."

Koko Hotel Premier Nihonbashi Hamacho
9.0 (1,129 reviews)

Koko Hotel Premier Nihonbashi Hamacho ★★★★

📍 2 Chome-30-4 Nihonbashihamacho, Chuo, Tokyo

"The room size is pretty standard for Japan. The aisle is a bit cramped, but I could still open my 26-inch suitcase. The mattress was very soft, and the duvet was incredibly warm – I think it might have been down? It's a comfort I've never experienced in a hotel before. The bathroom was very spacious, and the bathtub was big enough to lie down in comfortably. There's a Lawson and a 7-Eleven nearby, and it's also very close to the subway station. Unfortunately, there are only three washing machines, so you have to set an alarm to go down and queue for them."

Imperial Hotel, Tokyo
9.5 (2,401 reviews)

Imperial Hotel, Tokyo ★★★★★

📍 1 Chome-1-1, Chiyoda, Tokyo

"The iconic Imperial Hotel, a landmark in Japan for over 130 years, is also the birthplace of the Japanese buffet, introduced in 1958. Its location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from Ginza and only 3 kilometers from Tokyo Station, with the Imperial Palace also within walking distance. The breakfast selection is extensive, offering options from the 17th-floor buffet to Japanese breakfast in the basement, French cuisine, and other gourmet choices. The service is truly top-notch. While the hotel shows its age, it is incredibly well-maintained. I revisited for afternoon tea after more than a decade, and it was just as wonderful and unchanged as I remembered."

New Otani Inn Yokohama Premium
9.1 (443 reviews)

New Otani Inn Yokohama Premium ★★★★

📍 Sakuragicho, 1 Chome−1−7 ヒューリック, Naka-ku, Yokohama

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The facilities were excellent, from the relaxing atmosphere in the common areas to the well-maintained amenities. Everything felt modern and thoughtfully designed. I was also very impressed with the food — delicious, fresh, and with a good variety of options to choose from. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to friends and family."

Hotel Musse Ginza Meitetsu
9.0 (1,027 reviews)

Hotel Musse Ginza Meitetsu ★★★★

📍 Chuo-ku Ginza 7-12-9, Chuo, Tokyo

"Given its Ginza, Tokyo location, the room size is pretty standard, even if a bit small. The transportation is incredibly convenient; it's right in the Ginza shopping district with multiple subway lines just a few hundred meters' walk away. This makes it super easy to get to major attractions, Tokyo Station, and the airport. The breakfast is quite distinctive, with lots of small dishes that look great for photos. However, after staying for over a week, the menu barely changed – it was pretty much the same every day. While there was a decent variety, it wasn't enough to get completely bored. Plus, there's a convenience store right outside, which is really handy for getting cash and other essentials."

ART HOTEL Nippori Lungwood
8.9 (890 reviews)

ART HOTEL Nippori Lungwood ★★★★

📍 5‑50‑5 Higashi‑Nippori, Arakawa, Tokyo

"The hotel is very close to the station, which makes it super convenient for getting to Ueno. There are plenty of food options nearby, and it even has a small gym, which is a nice bonus."

Koko Hotel Premier Nihonbashi Hamacho ★★★★
"The location is fantastic, super convenient for dining and transportation. Even though it's only a 3-star hotel, it's very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is abundant; while there aren't many items, the quality is excellent! The cherry blossoms at Hamamachi Park next door were in full bloom, absolutely stunning! There are tons of izakayas, and you can find various taiyaki and cherry blossom mochi shops, plus great shopping!"

Imperial Hotel, Tokyo ★★★★★
"So glad I booked the Imperial Hotel again! Compared to others, it really offers great value for money. Check-in time is 2 PM, but I arrived a little after 1 PM and was able to check in smoothly right away. This time I stayed on the 24th floor, and the view was absolutely fantastic. The room was quite spacious, with a viewing table by the window – perfect for enjoying food, drinks, and the scenery. The soundproofing in the room was decent, though I could still hear a rumbling sound when the tram passed downstairs. However, not many trams run late at night, so it didn't really affect my sleep. The room was very clean, and the entire hotel was spotless. The bathroom was spacious, and there was even a small stool in front of the vanity, which was a thoughtful touch. The shower pressure was excellent, making for a very comfortable shower; it almost felt like a massage. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and hope to stay here again next time!"

The rooms are spacious, and the ocean-view rooms offer a fantastic panorama, especially at night when the view outside the window is simply stunning – like something out of a movie, a true visual feast! The breakfast is high quality with a rich variety of options, including both Western and Japanese styles, and the food is excellent. You can easily walk to popular Yokohama attractions from the hotel, and there's a bus stop downstairs for trips to Chinatown."

Hotel Musse Ginza Meitetsu ★★★★
"This hotel provides a wide range of amenities, such as combs and shavers available at the lobby, and guests are free to take what they need. The reception staff were very polite and professional, which I truly appreciated. The location is also excellent — there is a 7-Eleven right below the hotel and a FamilyMart next door. It’s only about a 7–8 minute walk to Ichiran Ramen. The room was clean, and the view was great as well. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit."

HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel ★★★★
"This hotel is amazing. The check in is so smooth and easy with their machines that print our room cards for you. The staff are super accommodating and there is alot of them to help you. The desk is 24hr service. The restaurant looks nice but didn't go. The room was not super spacious but was so cool with all the musical equipment touches. The view was absolutely stunning. Facing west, we got to see the sunset perfectly set over the mountains. The bed was SUPER comfortable and so BIG! The hotel is right in the action and super close to Shinjuku station. The laundry service and machines are great. The checkout was also very smooth and easy. They offer a shuttle to and from the airport at certain times. We caught the bus from the hotel to the airport at 3600¥ per person. It was super seamless and made the stress of getting ti the airport/walking through Shinjuku station non existent. Amazing 10/10."
