It was terrible. The toilet and shower were dirty and there was not enough space to change. Ventilation was bad. We booked a twin room and the upper part of the bunk bed was so dusty that I coughed the whole night and couldn't sleep. Had to rebook another hotel last minute and go elsewhere.

Yes, it is a bit more expensive than hotels in Kyoto because of Tokyo. But it is quite a nice place to go sightseeing.
