Tokyo Shibuya Ward Hotels

Lyf shibuya is located just opposite Parco, a hip and high-end shopping mall. While it's some distance from Shibuya station from a train-at-your-doorstep perspective, there are plenty of nice shops and restaurants nearby and from there you can practically walk to Daikanyama, Harajuku or Aoyama. I didn't use any of the amemities but some may like the gym and washer/dryer units there. I joined as a hotel member and got one free breakfast, which was a nice selection and tasty one. Picking Lyf the second time as I like its decor after staying at the Ginza one. The staff are generally young and wear a happy face. The hotel just has an upbeat vibe.

We recently stayed at Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku Japan, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted me with warmth and genuine hospitality, making me feel at home right away. The hotel blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern comforts, offering a serene atmosphere that perfectly complements the beauty of Shinjuku  My room was spacious and impeccably clean, with elegant touches such as shoji screens and tatami mats.We also appreciated the high-tech amenities like a smart toilet, adjustable lighting. The breakfast buffet was a delightful mix of Japanese and Western options, with fresh seasonal ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. The location was ideal, with major attractions  Overall, Hotel Sunroute Plaza exceeded my expectation Whether you’re visiting Shinjuku for leisure or business, We highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, peaceful ambiance, and prime location.

Always our top choice when traveling to Tokyo, the Shibuya Excel is conveniently located near everything, including JR Shibuya Station, the Metro, Narita Express, and the Airport Bus. There is a supermarket in the basement where we can buy fresh, high-quality Japanese fruit. The hotel is situated right in the heart of Shibuya, with just a minute's walk to the world-famous Shibuya Crossing. Choosing this hotel is a decision you won't regret. We love it!

The location is superb. 3 min walk to train station and bus terminal as well as to big department stores hands and Takashimaya. Due to high floor, the view is great! But the service is so so. Requested for extra blanket and couldn’t be acceded unlike Sunroute across the road, the extra blanket was placed on the bed before check. Service definitely needs to be improved

we have been staying in this hotel quite several times, although the interior may start to age, the service and the view is flawless and the location is only getting better with 2 new malls (Shibuya scramble square and Shibuya Hikarie) only 5-10mins walk through the flyover. The only reason i gave it a 4 star for facilities is that this hotel is not tailored for children, the swimming pool are for adults only. However, who wants to stay in the hotel while this is the centre of Shibuya...

I love this hotel because it is in the city center and in shibuya. maybe the only downside is that there are a lot of drunk people outside after partying all night and there are also unclean alley if you go at the back and take a shortcut going to shibuya crossing. however, the hotel is indeed clean and great staff too. I came in with my friends

hotel was very centrally located, within walking distance to shibuya station and shibuya scramble square. The twin room was small but still acceptable for 2 pax. The family room for 3 pax has however too small, and we ended up have to give way to each other when we need to move around the room. Self service laundry is provided, but there is only one with washer cum dryer. Hotel was very thoughful to provide complimentary hot drinks for hotel guests, including light snacks.

Excellent hotel and special mention to Justyna Location: Prime spot in the heart of Shinjuku and one minute walk to Shinjuku station exit 4, and less than five minutes to other exits. Room: Extremely clean, modern, spacious, fantastic housekeeping. Facilities: Washing machine, dryer, hot/cold water dispenser. Service: Top notch hospitality from staff who are very friendly and courteous – special mention to Justyna who was extremely helpful with my queries days leading up to my check-in, as well as throughout my 7-night stay, and she always ensures that my requests are fulfilled promptly. Thank you Justyna and team!

This is the place to be if you’re looking for a great location and are here with close friends or a loved one. Not suitable for families who are used to space, but hey, Miyashita Park next door can certainly stretch out your legs for a breather. I had no issues with the alternate cleaning schedule and the staff were warm and extremely accommodating, even with self check-in. They were on standby to direct us through the process which was very fuss-free and intuitive. I would return, no doubt. Those who prefer a more exclusive hotel entrance with your typical porters, bell boys and such won’t like it at Sequence as the hotel lobby is on the 4th floor and beside a cafe, but I personally had no qualms about it. For me, give the hotel a shot before writing it off totally. My friends and I had a great time - totally worth the price point.
