Hotels in Shinjuku Area, Tokyo

Although the place is a bit old, the overall environment and room are very cost-effective. It is very comfortable to stay in and the facilities are complete. The most important thing is that the front desk staff has very good service

We had a great stay at the Shinjuku Prince Hotel in Kabukicho district. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The ambience of the hotel reception at B1 is nice. The room we were in is clean and comfortable though it is not big, about 15 sqm. The window is big, which gives a bigger feel to the room. There is no wardrobe in the room we were in. Our Medium and small size luggage bags can be placed under our hotel room bed. The hotel is near to many eateries. There is also a 3-storey McDonald’s restaurant and a 7-11 convenience shop opposite the hotel. A shopping complex is below the hotel. The Shinjuku Metro station and Shinjuku Expressway Bus Station is about 10-12 min walk away. The streets around the hotel can get very busy and crowded, which should be taken into consideration when booking any hotel in Kabukicho.

Location is ideal. Less than 7mins walk to the underground walking street connected to the subway. Great for getting away from the hot weather. Hotel staff are able to communicate to English and Mandarin which makes it easy for foreign tourists. Room is kinda of small and not as modern as the hotel exterior. Bathtub is a bonus to soak off the tired feet from walking. Convenience shops are located at the 1st floor and across the street, making it easy to buy drinks and snacks.

The hotel's location is unbeatable - 5 to 10 minutes walk to major shopping malls (Keio, Lumine and Takashimaya/Isetan) and many good food and attractions within the Shinjuku area! The airport shuttle is right at the door step; which is an absolute convenience for travellers! Room is a bit small (atypical for Japan hotels); but very clean and comfortable. Kudos points goes to the amenities bar with all sorts of amenities (Right down to hair masks/facial masks and bath salts) which were totally surprising and scored bonus points with me! :) I will definitely book this hotel again for my next trip to Tokyo.

Located in the heart of Kabukicho, the hotel is approximately a 10-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station and about 5 minutes from Higashi-Shinjuku Subway Station. This prime location provides guests with easy access to Shinjuku’s bustling nightlife, shopping centers, and entertainment venues. While Kabukicho is known as a lively nightlife area, the hotel’s proximity allows guests to experience Tokyo’s dynamic energy firsthand.

It’s a great choice for couples & families (with kids)! Amenities & service was top notch & the hotel’s location makes it very convenient for commute via train, cab or otherwise! It’s a rather safe area to take a stroll around, in the night time too! Breakfast buffet was good but could be better! Simply put, it was premium…just like its name!

We were very happy at first that the room had a good air conditioner, but we couldn't find how to turn it off (you could only switch between modes and increase/decrease the amount of air), it was very inconvenient and perhaps an air conditioner with a remote control would have been a better solution because it doesn't work 24/7. Unfortunately we found hair on our bed and it really spoiled our mood at first (on the pillows and blanket). The curtains were also dirty, although we really liked their color at first. The location of the hotel is very convenient (1 minute from the metro), and if you are only going to stay overnight in the hotel - everything is not so bad, although its rooms are quite old. I still recommend this hotel, but only if you need quick access to transport.

Location is very conventient to the train station, cleanliness for me expectation was meet as this hotel is a capsule type cleanliness is maintain , shower room shampoo and body wash provided tooth paste and toothbrush as well, near to the restaurant at kabuchiko area.., the only thing I observe and bad comment will be the receptionist on duty as they always not there in the counter always close and also the check in time which is 15:00hrs for me its to late especially we are tired for the long travel so we want to liedown first before we walk around and explore the area As over all I was satified and recommended this hotel for those who want to save money as traveller

Great value for money, especially considering the perfect location. It's ideal for exploring the area with everything within walking distance. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit small, but for the price and location, it’s still a great choice. Overall, highly recommend for a short stay!

Fairly easy to find, good value at time of booking. In a good location, easy walking distance to some attractions, the subway and shopping and if you don’t mind the walk there’s plenty to see and visit from this location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Opted for the breakfast option. There are plenty of corner shops around with some good values items. Would recommend this and would book here again.
