This hotel is in a good location, near Higashi Ginza Station, convenient to go anywhere, and it is also convenient to eat and buy things downstairs. The room is a bit small. Maybe it was because it was our first time to Japan, so I felt that the hotel service was not very good. There was no drinking water in the room. There was a small kettle, but the table was very small and the TV was above the socket. I didn't dare to boil water at all. The waiter at the front desk was also unhappy when I asked for water. The next day, when I asked for water, he pretended to be stupid and asked me to buy water from the vending machine myself, but when I ran over, the vending machine was full of drinks. Although he gave me bottled water after I got angry, I was still very angry. I will not go there again in the future. The service is not good. I think I am very polite and expressed my request very clearly. I don't know why this hotel that costs more than 1,000 yuan a night is reluctant to give guests a bottle of bottled water.

Great location! Hotel is 1-min walk to Hanzomon train station Exit 1. Family Mart convenience store is just round the corner, 30-secs walk. There is a takeaway bento store just across the street.
Great coffee machine at the lobby, free 24/7! Daily breakfast is takeaway bag of 3 mini bread/pastries.
Room size is small. Ideal for 1 pax. Not suitable for those with large suitcase.
Overall, a great stay for 10 days. Will be back again!

The location of hotel is great- it is only 1-3 stations to each touristic area in Tokyo, like Sinzuku, Ginza, Asakusa.
Pros: polite and helpful stuff, great location, purity, wonderful view, having laundry.
Cons: there wasn’t a closet, only hangers, so it was a little uncomfortable.
I really enjoyed to stay here.

Location:
5-8 min walk to Jimbocho Station for the Hanzomon Line, Mita Line and Shinjuku Line. It's super easy to get anywhere in Tokyo. Including Shinjuku areas.
The location is a business district so it's clean, modern, quiet and safe.
You can walk to the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Dome and there are several supermarkets and restaurants on the same street as the hotel.
So its a really good location and even though its not in the heart of the Shinjuku area its easily accessible and the savings you get because of it makes it worthwhile
Hotel Room
Big. I was worried because room sizes in Japan are listed as 16sqM or 18sqM or even 11SqM and I'm used to 20 -60sqM in Europe and other parts of Asia. But the room size here is fine. Not cramped and with a big bathroom. There is a USB plug socket in the middle of the bed (they provide charging cables). The AC was quiet and useful as was the fridge (no freezer)
The room is very clean and tidy every day with fresh towels and sheets changed every 3 days
Hotel Features
There is a laundry room for guests, a vending machine, a microwave, an ice machine - so many features.
We did not have breakfast at the hotel, we felt for 990 Yen per person per day, its better just to go to the 7-11 next door and buy stuff
Overall
The location is good. Safe, clean and with food nearby. The room is clean and bigger than expected. Would stay here again especially considering the price

Room is small. Can only open 1 big luggage, the other big luggage need to lean against the wall.
They provide washing cream, lotion and emulsion - Kose style. Really nice to use. Breakfast is western style so we didn’t get that. Next door there’s a soba/ udon shop where you can get a nice bowl of noodles. To the left opposite the hotel, there’s a maze of lanes of izakaya and food outlets.

The hotel is simply incredible in terms of price/quality. Clean, conveniently located, several cozy cafes nearby for really tasty breakfasts. Towels and pajamas in the room are changed, garbage is taken out daily, a thorough cleaning every 3 days. The air conditioner in the room heats up brutally. The staff is more than friendly and helpful. They offer to take facial skin care products, for cleansing, lotion and essence at the reception - all of wonderful quality, the skin was transformed in a few days! You can also take a washcloth and other bath accessories such as a razor, washcloth, cotton swabs and pajamas. At the entrance there are free tea of 2 types, water with lemon, a potter. There are several metro stations nearby, a station with 3 lines is a couple of minutes' walk away. A couple of stations to the center of Tokyo. In this area there are many shops with ski and snowboard equipment and also guitar music stores. We really liked it! I would gladly stay there again!

the room is very small and only fit one person. bathroom very small too. pretty clean however if you stay 2 nights they do not clean the 2nd day. they clean room only every other day. however they will give you clean towels and hang on your door.
the location is not central but hotel is a 5 min walk next to a metro station. there is also a Daiso next to metro which is great. most items are only 100 yen.
I gave the hotel 3 stars for service because I find some Japanese hotels have unusual early check out time (10:00am). they are also very inflexible and do not give out late outs without charging extra fee. 10:00 is an hour earlier than most hotels worldwide. in china for example checkout tine is usually 12:00 noon. and they usually can allow later check out time with no extra fee.
I hope Japanese hotels will give later check out times.

Outstanding
GGuest UserI am a book lover myself, and came to stay here for 2 nights in March a week before Easter, mainly for the library theme and book selection. The hotel itself, the book lounge, and the book libraries on each floor was all very very good. However, upon my checking in, it was obvious that the male receptionist on the left pay more attention to Caucasian guests rather than me (an Asian solo female traveller). I had the impression they just wanted to get rid of me asap, and then served the Caucasian guests behind me.
During the whole of my check in process, no one mentioned anything about the special libraries on each floor, no one told me about the free beverages offered “at the far end corner for the reception desk”, and definitely no one mentioned anything about he QRcode library tour!!! I stayed for two nights and it was only after the first night (when I read the books inside my room that I knew of ANY of the services I mentioned above). Of course one may say I could read all those on the signage’s provided in the property. But then…
Upon walking into the reception desk the next day, I did hear the same male receptionist explained in great detail (everything I mentioned above)in English to other Caucasian guests.
I like the library premise of the property, the books selections were great, exhibition on the first floor was quite nice, however, I am not sure if I would stay for a second time, knowing how they treated solo female Asian guest whom they assumed was not civilised enough (that was my impression) to deserve a thorough introduction about this lovely bookish hotel from them. Quite disappointed to be frank, especially knowing how much history this hotel has included!!
JJoyceLocation is great -5 mins walk from station. Rooms are decent size for Jap standard and hotel is modern and classy, doesn’t feel dated. No need to join the breakfast at hotel as lots of options nearby. 7/11 attached and Starbucks and cafes and shops within 2 mins walking distance. Sawamura ( turn right at Starbucks) has yummy bread and pastries and there is a line queuing up for lunch every day before 11.
GGuest UserExcellent hotel and special mention to Justyna
Location: Prime spot in the heart of Shinjuku and one minute walk to Shinjuku station exit 4, and less than five minutes to other exits.
Room: Extremely clean, modern, spacious, fantastic housekeeping.
Facilities: Washing machine, dryer, hot/cold water dispenser.
Service: Top notch hospitality from staff who are very friendly and courteous – special mention to Justyna who was extremely helpful with my queries days leading up to my check-in, as well as throughout my 7-night stay, and she always ensures that my requests are fulfilled promptly. Thank you Justyna and team!
GGuest UserKeio hotel is located in Shinjuku. Their rooms are reasonably size and the staff are nice and helpful. There are many restaurants around the hotel, and Lawson convenience store is located opposite the hotel. It takes about 5-7 minutes to walk from the hotel to Shinjuku's JR Station.
LloobenjaminExcellent service staff especially Miss Fujita mending the checkin counter. She has been very friendly, helpful by providing us with a lot of information, explained in detail about the hotel facilities and even recommended us to some site seeing locations in Asakusa. Hotel is in a very strategic location within the heart of Asakusa, accessible by 2 metro line, with great 7-11 just a few steps away from the hotel. Definitely going to repeat our stay there in the future.
SSALLESWe had a nice stay at Washington Hotel Akihabara. The hotel is well located, nearby metro lines and local trains which allow us to easily move around Tokyo. Although the room is small, it is well designed and it big enough for few nights. The bed is not very large but comfortable. We managed to sleep with our 2 yo kid. You can also choose between soft or hard pillow. The bathroom was quite big with a nice bathtub. Around the hotel, you have plenty of restaurant and convenient stores. The buffet breakfast was great and everything we try tastes really good ! There is a large choice between Japanese food and wester food. Finally, there is a laundry area which was really convenient.
AAnonymous UserVery clean, spacious, the biggest room I got so far for single occupancy, able to open my suitcase n still got space to walk around comfortably. Very convenient just 7 mins walk to/from Ueno station or 4 mins to/from Okachimachi station. Kensei Skyliner to Narita airport just short walk from Ueno station. Good for last min shopping at Ameyoko Street (Uniqlo/GU, supermarket, Daiso, Donki, etc). Delicious & affordable Chirashi Don Sushi bowl (must have). They also catered free half portion ramen at night, yakult & ice sticks after Onsen (manga at the entertainment room). Definitely will stay again.
AAnonymous Useri booked the triple room as it was the only room left. there was space for only 1 large luggage - the room was a little old but bed and duvet surprisingly comfy. onsen was small so it got a little crowded as the hotel was full that night. location was great - tho the nearest ikebukuro stn exit with lift, C9 (vs 20b), is a little further from the station. excellent authentic chinese food nearby (豪妈 on google maps), and a family mart just across the street. great hotel!
GGuest UserI love the location it’s super convenient. Staff are super polite and smiley.
Service wise is not good too many strange rules firstly, there is no phone in the room. In case u need one it’s near the elevator on each floor to speak to the staff.
The twin bed are way too big for us 2/3 of the room. I can’t even open my suitcase easily.
Only one elevator in this 14 storeys hotel right next to their emergency stairways. There is a sign saying if you are in a rush please use the stairways but we were on the higher floor and it’s so cold February a few degrees Celsius ???? Well no thanks I shall wait patiently then……
No daily cleaning service we stayed 5 nights the hotel offered one time cleaning during our stay. All the dirty linens and garbage have to be placed outside your door by 10am if new towels needed. Strangely one bottle complimentary water was given to 2 guests daily together in a bag of towels and slippers toothbrush garbage bags. Only one washing machine ¥600 35mins, dryer ¥300 60mins available (cashless payment only) Onsen too small and poor facilities.
