"The check-in time at the Hyatt was 4:00 pm, which was later than I've been in contact with other hotels. Fortunately, the check-out time is 12:00, which is better than 11:00 in some hotels. The front desk of the hotel took down my mobile number and told me: If the room is ready in advance, I will be called. Unfortunately, no call was received. Check in after 4:00, the front desk calls the room and asks what else you need, such as water, coffee, etc."

"Booked Deluxe King Room with breakfast included. Room was spacious and breakfast was great. Yet the standard of housekeeping was far from satisfactory. First, hairs were found at the wrap for the wire of the hair dryer the moment I checked in, and small scrap of paper was also found on the inside of a towel. Without any notice/sign in the room about the hotel's green housekeeping policy (if any), towels heavily loaded on the hook and hangers in the bathroom were not collected even on day 3 of my stay (there was no bath tub in the room to place used towels). Packs of cotton pads, cotton buds and small soaps were not refilled even when totally used up. Interesting enough, when enquired with front desk if that was the hotel's policy not to so collect the towels and make the refill unless express requests were made, the answer was in the negative. The charging of tips for breakfast is another interesting issue. My husband stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (with breakfast included) before my arrival. When he checked out, he was asked to pay for tips for 1 breakfast. After clarifying if tips should be paid for 2 breakfasts instead, front desk apologized for having wrongly charged for any tips as all charges should have already been included when making the hotel booking. Yet on our checking out after 5 nights' stay with the hotel, we were told that we had to pay for tips for 2 days' breakfast. We again enquired about the hotel policy and explained that we were willing to pay but wondered why tips weren't charged for all 5 days for our stay. No explanation was given and the staff (probably thought that we did not want to pay) just advised that the charges would be waived. I have stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok and the service was excellent. Was thus surprised to had those experience at Park Hyatt Toronto."

"The Novotel Toronto North York was good for a place to sleep in a convenient location to good stores and the subway, but I would only stay here if I needed a place to crash in North York. Check in was very quick and the service was good. Amenities and hotel decor seemed a bit dated though. There were strands of the previous guest hair in a corner of the bathroom that did not seem to be cleaned well enough and then the night of my shower, the drainage was a little bit slow. The water pressure on the 15th floor for my room also seemed to be a little low. TV channels for the cable service were also lacking signal at random points throughout the broadcast. At least the channels broadcasting PBS and the Olympics were still flawless, so that was a plus."

"I can't say enough wonderful things about the Delta Downtown Toronto! We were treated like favoured guests, our every request was handled with professionalism and real concern for our happiness with the quality of our stay, and every staff member was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. The room was spotless and gorgeously appointed; even the bathroom was stunning with a fantastic view of the city. Our only sad point was that the pool closed the weekend we stayed there, for what I presume was emergency maintenance, which was disappointing. I would stay with Delta again for sure; fantastic hotel chain!"

RRuilinThe hotel is located outside the subway Union Station. It's a convenient place to stay, whether you're coming from the airport or taking the Go Train back from Niagara Falls. There is a coffee machine with 3 capsules, cutters. Just bought watermelon at the supermarket outside the hotel. Nice radio, playing music for me right in the door.

ZZann SaidLocation is good. Within walking distance of the Union Train Station and Eaton Shopping Malls. Opposite hotel is a nice restaurant called Old Spaghetti Factory that has nice ambience and serves good pasta. Restaurant also provides halal option (refer to their instagram). Besides the Old Spaghetti Factory, down the street, there are more eateries providing halal food options such as kebabs and pizzas. Special mention is a halal fast food restaurant selling fried chicken called Mother Clucker. There is a also a supermarket next to the hotel and drugstores within walking distance. Room size is comfortable, relatively spacious. Amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, towels, hairdryer, kettle, fridge etc are provided. TV has wide range of channels and shows. Beds and pillows are comfortable. A good stay.

GGuest UserWe had a really great stay at this hotel. Excellent for travelling with family! They had a good crib for a toddler, and separate tub and shower, which was also nice.  Really friendly staff and super helpful when we needed anything!  Great location and easy access to things around the city. Parking available, though it’s not included in the room fee.

NNgMoonI was initially apprehensive about staying in an ”old” hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future

EEmmanuel LemireRoom was good, but noise insulation was poor. Could easily hear people in other rooms. Gym and pool are good, but pool water is a bit too warm. Sauna is ok - temperature is not that hot and feels a bit outdated. Amenities are ok - coffee provided, but no water or newspapers. Altogether, Hilton feels so-so for what you pay.

RRuilinby Lake Ontario. Get off at Union Station of the subway, turn to Streetbus No. 509 and 510 in the subway station, and you will arrive at the hotel entrance. The girl at the front desk is very elegant. Inside and outside the hotel are stylish and stylish, and the rooms are fresh and beautiful. Very comfortable. JJaytravelsThis is a formerly Westin property. While i can see that this property once was an amazing hotel with lots of land and amenities, i could tell the new management wasn't doing a great maintenance job. Lots of wear and tears in common areas. But still the rooms were clean and while the location isnt in downtown, lots of restaurant options nearby to make it appealing

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good, but there is no front desk staff, so you need to call to get in; it is similar to a B&B, close to Chinatown (lots of Chinese restaurants and grocery stores) and the Ontario Museum of Art, and not far from the University of Toronto and a bustling shopping mall; the hotel is a The two-story villas (all on this street) look nice from the outside, but the rooms inside are small and the furniture and facilities are simple. There is only a small refrigerator, no hot water kettle or other heating equipment, and no toiletries. The service staff are Chinese and relatively easy to talk to.

TTati11I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of prior communication regarding the check-in procedure. Upon arrival, we entered the loby area, and we were welcomed by the security officer who explained to contact the company for instructions which included sending photos of my ID along with a separate image of me holding it. After paying a deposit, we were finally granted access to the apartment. This process took nearly an hour, and we were surprised to find that our unit was located on the 48th floor of the tower. While this didn’t bother us, it would have been helpful to know in advance, especially for those who suffer from vertigo. Reliable Wi-Fi is essential, as a lack of connectivity can be quite problematic. The apartment itself was small and cosy, offering impressive views of the CN Tower. However, upon our arrival, the driver was still drying towels and bedding, which I found to be inappropriate. The small balcony had very dirty glass that had not been cleaned, and the kitchen was not entirely tidy. Additionally, the bedroom carpet was heavily stained, and we were required to remove our shoes. Upon checking out, we had to take out the trash and wash the towels, bedding, and dishes, which consumed another hour of our time. I couldn't help but wonder what the cleaning staff was doing. It’s worth noting that a deposit was taken, and failure to adhere to the rules would result in its forfeiture. Although I generally avoid complaining, We felt overwhelmed by the expectations, especially after paying for our vacation. Furthermore, if extending the stay for a few additional hours, there is a significant extra charge. The elevators were consistently busy, and during our departure, the security personnel in the concierge area were rather rude, insisting we leave the lobby despite the presence of chairs and tables. We simply wanted to arrange our next ride without having to do so on the street. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but the apartment could benefit from more thorough cleaning, and the rules could be more accommodating for guests.
