Premier Inn Torquay Seafront

My partner booked this as a spur of the moment night away with our infant son. Greeted by a helpful friendly gentleman (unsure of name, short ginger hair). On arrival we were told the lift wasn't working which was a pain as we had a pushchair plus his travel cot, and bags etc. Luckily it was first floor. The room was a decent size, double bed, single and a travel cot- but we used our own as its bigger. Double bed was very uncomfortable..seemed to dip. Tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer. However it was tired looking. Sheets were marked, but no doubt clean all the same. There was a thick trail of dust under the tv panelling on the wall. Our son who is crawling picked this up and ate it. So quite annoyed, it hadn't been hoovered in quite some time. Soap dispenser was grimly lined with soap scum, had a partial sea view but ruined by rubbish on flat roof. We used the restaurant, food and drinks were really tasty and good value for money. Friendly staff. General areas were clean. £7 for parking on site. Given the area I thought was fair. Wouldn't stay there again but would definitely use the restaurant.

Bed on arrival was not made properly and looked messy - although was comfortable. Decor was shabby in most corners and low down by floor - Room, bathroom and restaurant. Expected more from a Premier Plus room but ....... No cushions, no draws, minimal hanging space, vanity mirror in wrong place and shelf too small. Although a spacious room the furniture was quite minimal. Food was good but not for vegetarians unless you like spicy, cheesy!

This Premier Inn used to be my favourite I've always rave about it it was beautiful. It's definitely been let go since we visited last year it's filthy inside and out. There was blood on our bedding. Breakfast cold & greasy. Garden overgrown. I did complain about the room but was told no others we're available.

Fab stay again in the annex of the hotel. The room was perfect for us and we had dual aspect windows, one of which overlooking the seafront. The facilities were on point in the room. Love having the nespresso, being a coffee addict! This is our second stay in 4 months in this hotel as it's so close to the beach and Abbey but walking distance to town and harbour, with no big hills. Hotel was clean and tidy and if you stay more than one night you have to request room refresh with reception, which I find better. Any supplies such as tea, coffee etc can be picked up at reception.

Premier plus room was large with double aspect views. Light and airy .Immaculate shower room and tea and coffee making facilities. The position of the hotel is right opposite a small ⛱️ beach and only a 10 minute level walk from the station. Also it is only a short walk along the promenade to The Princess Theatre and many restaurants. A wonderfully central place to stay. Will definitely be back.

Booked standard room but was upgraded to Premier Plus room after requesting sea view. No problem checking in at 4am (we had booked for that night and the next). Lovely big room, comfy bed, great view and easy short walk to the harbour. A very enjoyable experience overall. I would definitely stay here again.
