Fantastic stay at Elmdene. Kim and Trev were so inviting, and it felt like we were on a family visit. The room was pristine and bed so comfortable. Also, the hotel is well situated to the town with a quick stroll through the Abbey. Highly recommend if you travelling to Torquay to book your stay at the Elmdene.

As per, another lovely stay - always welcoming and nothing too much trouble - Trev and Kim welcome you like family. Breakfast filling as usual, if there's something you want that's not on the menu, just ask, they always accommodate as best they can. Home from Home vibe.

Absolutely first class stay in every respect! The location, the hosts, rooms and breakfast were outstanding. The welcome and genuine customer service we received throughout our stay (3 nights) from Trevor and Pat was so refreshing. I know people have different standards and expectations, but i can honestly say The Elmdene is a must if you are staying down the South West. Many thanks Lee (Brad) & Trace x

We love a The Elmdene and have a couple of 4 nights or more stays per year . Kim and Trev are fabulous hosts . The rooms are kept beautifully. We had a third floor attic room number 6, which is a large room with a seating area and a lovely shower room .Breakfast is served in a bright charming room with a very good choice to suit all tastes . The weather was wonderful. we had a trip on the ferry to Brixham one day .The train station is close by, so we visited Teignmouth and had a lovely day and meal another day . Torquay has had a lot of improvements made to its Abbey and the Harbour area. We have, as always, had a wonderful break . Many thanks, Kim and Trev

nothing to much trouble excellent food rooms first class would go back back its got a beautiful harbour lovely shops and restaurants breakfast as lots of verity and local products would recommend once again Kim and Trevor thanks for a fantastic weekend xx

This is the third time we have visited and all I can say is it was as superb as usual. Kim and Trevor are fantastic hosts and the rooms and public areas are spotlessly clean and exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast is really good as well. For me this is the perfect location. It's a short walk to the town centre, easily walkable even after a few drinks and an even shorter walk to the beach while being in a lovely quiet location. I can't praise this hotel enough!! Brilliant value for money!!

Always lovely to see you both, can’t recommend your beautiful place enough very comfortable, food amazing, bedroom very comfortable beautifully decorated as is the whole place, Looking forward to next visit x

This is the 4th time we have been to the Elmdene for the weekend. We absolutely love it there and always have the best time. The rooms are so spacious and Kim and Trev think of everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect, only a short walk along the beachfront into the centre. Couldn’t recommend highly enough - we’ll be back again next year!

Just returned home after a fabulous long weekend at the Elmdene. There are 7 lovely ensuite bedrooms and i had booked them all for a family/friends reunion. It was all perfect and we are all returning next year to do it all over again. Kim and Trev looked after us well and the accommodation couldn't have been better. The onsite carpark was even big enough for all of our cars. There is a electric charging point being fitted next week so this will just be the icing on the cake. The hotels open bar/lounge area was ideal for us all to gather and enjoy ourselves. The whole place is spotless with luxury fittings. Everyone slept well and ate well with Kim's famous cooked breakfast with healthy options also available. The hotel is located in a lovely tree lined residential area within close walking distance of The Bay and Torquay town. If you did need transport you have a choice of bus, train and taxi services close by should you want to enjoy a tipple.
