Stayed at this hotel for a week in June. We were in a deluxe room, Clean and comfy. Location 5 mins from Harbour but may take longer to get back as its on a hill. Full English Breakfast was amazing even the scrambled eggs was big. Bed was comfy and towels so soft, Shame we couldn't get to the pool as it was blocked off, did ring the bell at the desk 3 times to ask about pool but nobody answered and nobody on the desk all day.

I read the information in the room saying if you mark the towels with fake tan or shoe polish or anything else you will have to pay. So that night I pulled the curtains only to find BLOOD on them see pictures. I went and told the man on the desk in the morning about 8am and said I was not going to pay for the cleaning of the curtains. He said he would let house keeping know . I went out and came back about 1 pm . I thought they would have sorted by now . I happened to see house keeping amd ask if they had removed the blood they didn't know anything about it . So I had to wait in lobby until they had cleared them . I thought they replaced the curtains with clean ones . But no same ones and one of marks still there

The manager is down right rude and uninterested. The rooms are tired and all the surfaces were sticky. The bed was supposed to be king size but was just 2 single beds pushed together. The carpets were filthy and worn out. The highlight besides leaving was the breakfast. Only reason I stayed was because somehow it has a 4 star rating on Booking but warning flags were there as it was only £54 a night including breakfast. I will not be back

Lovely stay, room was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and so much choice. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for your service. Not far from the harbour and shops. Lovely walks, plenty of hills. Will definitely stay here again

Very warm welcome with free parking and easy walk to the harbour. The guest house is a little dated and could do with updating. However the place is spotlessly clean and has a personality all of its own. The beds are comfy, ample tea and coffee in the rooms. Great breakfast served with smiles and hot. Only downside was the pillows, they need upgrading

Just had 4 fabulous days in torquay. Stayed at the yardley manor hotel. It was an excellent hotel really great value at 200 quid. it's up the best end of town close to the good restaurants Just 5 mins walk sway. The breakfast is amazing and worth £10-£15 each all day. Would highly recommend this place

Stayed here Mon 17th June for 4 nights the hotel is very clean. The staff are very friendly and the hotel manager is very helpfull the rooms are very good and the beds are comfortable ( in fact I would go so far to say I've had the best nights sleep in this hotel than I've had in almost 18 months due to personal problems) the breakfast here is very good 10/10 very quick and very hot and the staff are brill the bar has a good atmosphere with a pool table and many TV's also not far from the harbour. Shops. pubs and restaurants. would definitely stay here again

Really disappointed with room size even though we paid for an upgrade. Also couldn’t believe you don’t get housekeeping daily. We stayed for two nights and the hotel expect you to reuse wet towels but if you want dry ones you have to pay £1 for 1 towel and 50p for a bath mat! Didn’t come in and top up tea/ coffee and never anyone on reception so got some from shop. Beds super uncomfortable, everytime you moved you could feel the springs Also it advertises entertainment but this is only on in a small over packed pub below the hotel and it’s only on in afternoon 4-7 pm
