This is my 4th or 5th visit to Carlton Court and I have always left feeling that I would return when next in Torquay. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The room was very comfortable, clean and warm providing everything I needed including a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was excellent and included cereal, fruit, fruit juice and a full english breakfast either vegetarian or not. The guest house has its own private parking and is in about 15 minutes walking distance of the seafront.

Had a delightful stay at Carlton Court. Booked at quite short notice for my husbands Birthday. The room was beautifully decorated and furnished. The attention to detail was brilliant. Breakfast was 10/10 and the hosts were lovely. The only regret is that we only stayed for 1 night. The next time it will be for longer.

We had the most perfect weekend here the rooms were large impeccably clean breakfast was fantastic all locally sourced and a lot of it . The hosts Lynn & paul they are the most perfect couple amazing host. We will be back soon. Again Lynn & Paul we thank you. We had a restful stay at Carlton Court. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everthing was very neat and clean. The breakfast was delicious and hot. We enjoyed the fruit and yoghurt as well. Lynn was friendly and welcoming especially so because we arrived an hour early. She ensured our stay was comfortable and even laid out a table in the dinning room for us to have our take away dinner. Lynn provided information about the area which was very useful. The hotel is situated on a relatively quiet road which is about a 10 minute walk from the promenade.

What a fabulous boutique hotel. Lynn and Paul are improving the property all the time. The new bar is fantastic. The rooms and facilities (homemade flapjacks, marmalades etc) are great and the location is good, for the train (Torre) and the seafront, a 10 minute walk. Close enough but not bothered by noise etc. Parking on site is a definite plus.

This hotel is outstanding Lynn & Paul are the best hosts. Food was amazing the breakfast was delicious as was the home made scones thank you Lynn. The rooms are amazing we have stayed in them all nearly. They are a high standard. Tv in the rooms with tree view also. Small bar which was great if you fancied a night in. Lovely wines and beers and soft drinks available and very reasonably priced. Hugh beds lovely baths and seperate showers and nice toiltrees. The towels and linen are gorgeous the bedding snd towels are crisp white A fridge in the room is a great touch. Also wooden hangers which I love. Water in the fridge was for to use as was milk and lovely flapjacks homemade. Lynn & Paul are the best hosts and will do anything for you such lovely down to earth people nothing is to much trouble for them. It's walking distance from everything you need also which is a great bonus. What makes this hotel home from home is Lynn &Paul they are amazing people who are doing a fabulous job. We will see you very soon.🙂

Four of us stayed for one night and we were all very impressed. The rooms were spacious with many facilities and spotlessly clean. The owners were very friendly and it was an excellent breakfast and excellent value for money. Car parking is available which is always a bonus

Paul and Lynn are lovey people and very warm welcome await with very nice treats in your room we have stayed at the B&B 3 times and each time in a different room every room is very comfortable. The cream teas are very nice. Thanks Paul & Lynn for having us again see you soon.
