Montana is a very pleasant place with great, generous breakfast. It was very clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were reasonably big and pleasantly decorated with tea and coffee supplies. The area was close to the beach and shops quite near.

My wife and i stayed here for 1 night. The room was pleasent and comfortable. The hotel was neat and well presented. Overall we would stay again. I would suggest proper veggie. Sausages not vegetable sausages. The hotel was well worth visiting

William the host was very nice and nothing was a bother. The room is clean & tastefully decorated with a great sized shower. The guesthouse was central for town centre and taxi’s were always available if going further afield. Breakfast was great & a very good chinese ( happy chef) nearby. Would definitely stay here again 🙂

This is our 3 visit to the hotel .Room was big clean and tidy . Tea and coffee tray and hairdryer tv and good size wardrobe if you need to unpack for a longer stay. Breakfast is hot and fresh and lots to choose. You have a friendly welcome and a the owner is only a call away if you have an issue will book again soon

They Cancelled our booking last minute with no explanation. Spoiled Christmas break, ended up staying at home… We had this booked for at least 10 months in advance.. So, if you want a Christmas break here check in advance that the booking is secure to save disappointment..& keep checking..

Would definitely return if staying in Torquay, close to seafront. The Montana is welcoming and very clean, our room was spacious, modern, spotless and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we both slept well. The breakfast was well organised and we could help ourselves to hot coffee, cereals, toast and fruit juices as well as our pre-order of a hot breakfast. The only recommendation I would give is to offer fresh fruit and yoghourt, which is a personal choice. William was a perfect host.

Excellent stay, from the first point of contact, during & check out. Clean & tidy, from the gate, entrance, dining room, stairs & of course the room/ensuite. The decor through out was smart & easy on the eye, all facilities just as expected. A minor surprise re- "cooked breakfast timing" was dealt with very satisfactorily. Superb Host(s) easily accessible, but hardly seen. Amazing.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Our room was very comfortable ,Spotlessly clean, extremely well presented, good breakfast, well run and convenient for beach, town and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will book again!!
