Excellent owner, Ganesh, who is super helpful and friendly. His family were also lovely. The room was clean, and very comfortable.

I’m not one for leaving bad reviews but this place justifies it as wouldn’t want someone else to end up in the same position. Hotel looked like it was shut down room was dark and dingy and check in staff were far from professional wearing joggers and sliders. Stated had a bar which was closed hotel didn’t look open. We left after 30 minutes again no staff around so called to tell them we were leaving and they agreed we could have a refund then when chasing it changed their mind!

Lovely hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable. Also great view from balcony. Staff were very helpful and always happy to help with anything. Great location only a 5 minute walk to nearby shops and restaurants and close to harbour. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Torquay

Very warm welcome by owners. We booked a king suite with balcony. Absolutely spot on. Clean, spacious and lovely comfy room. Could not fault it. 5 min walk to the harbour and all the bars and restaurants. Will definitely be staying here again

Visited 16th to 20th September 2024 and we could not fault it. Ganesh could not do enough for us. The place is spotless. Breakfast is brilliant we can eat and love breakfast but we had to ask to leave a couple of items off the day after arriving. My Wife Daughter and myself were highly satisfied with everything. There was one thing that needs to be mentioned and that is anyone with disabilities might find the steps up to the building awkward but everything else great. We will definetly stay again. Just got home from our stay at hotel Hudson(3 nights)this was our first visit but it won't be our last,very friendly and helpfull staff,spotlessly clean,very close to all amenities and great value for money,also a very nice breakfast available

What a perfect find. Location spot on, 5 min walk to seafront. Host was so friendly and understanding. Seaview room at top of hotel, tea coffee bottles of water . Great choice at breakfast, cereal, toast, yogurt and beautifully cooked hot. Free parking either at back of hotel or with free permit parking in carpark behind hotel (up a steep hill). Would definitely recommend and we will return

Just came back from a fantastic week in Torquay. The hotel hudson was a great place to stay that I would highly recommend. The hospitality was brilliant and so was the room . Very clean and tidy and the breakfasts was great. Nothing was too much trouble and would stay there again in a heart beat. The hosts are so lovely. The hotel is minutes on foot from the harbour and places to eat and drink
