My group of three friends stayed at Kau Rio Serrano for a few days in February 2025 as part of an organized tour, and we found this hotel to be the most extraordinary lodging and dining experience of our trip. The rooms each provided views and comfortable beds and spaces. The common areas were gorgeous and welcoming. The chef, Valeska, and her kitchen staff elevated this stay to "unbelievable." She is incredibly creative in selecting food options for varied dietary choices. What really stood out was Valeska's choice of local ingredients that she personally forages and selects, including berries (sauces, cocktails, jams, garnishes), mushrooms (main and side dishes), and greens. If in the Torres del Paine region, do not miss this hotel.
