The five stars are for the boss lady and the waiter, they are very nice people.
Advantages: Horseback riding is available in this area. Those who want to experience horseback riding on the plains can come here.
The room is quite clean
Meals are also great
Disadvantages: The WIFI and signal are very poor because it is in a valley
The dogs raised by people nearby are wild and may bite you.
Transportation is inconvenient, so you must rent a car.

My group of three friends stayed at Kau Rio Serrano for a few days in February 2025 as part of an organized tour, and we found this hotel to be the most extraordinary lodging and dining experience of our trip. The rooms each provided views and comfortable beds and spaces. The common areas were gorgeous and welcoming. The chef, Valeska, and her kitchen staff elevated this stay to "unbelievable." She is incredibly creative in selecting food options for varied dietary choices. What really stood out was Valeska's choice of local ingredients that she personally forages and selects, including berries (sauces, cocktails, jams, garnishes), mushrooms (main and side dishes), and greens. If in the Torres del Paine region, do not miss this hotel.

SO wonderful - everything. Great location, food was amazing, room/bed very comfortable. Best of all: WORLD CLASS customer service. Truly. Flo was otherworldly great - fun, attentive, extremely knowledgeable and more, and Vicente was outstanding too. Will DEFINITELY return!

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days in January of 2025. From the second you drive up you realize you are in paradise, the surroundings are picturesque and exquisite. Upon arrival we were greeted by Florencia who introduced herself to each member of our 6 person group and from that moment forward she knew each of us by name and was there to help with absolutely anything we needed! The rooms were spotless and each had a beautiful view of the surroundings including the mountains, cows, roosters and horses. The food was beyond 5 star. Each dish was explained as it always had a component of the region and highlighted the importance of the land around us. In our group of 6, 5 of us had dietary restrictions or allergies and each was honoured in every single meal. I personally have very severe allergies and I felt like I at no point had to worry or even think twice as the care given to each meal was explain each day. The calafate sour at this hotel is a MUST try.

Staff and service were welcoming and attentive. Food was excellent with beautiful presentation. Intimate hotel with grand view of the mountains. Overall wonderful experience. Nice Bar available. Roads in Patagonia are generally gravel and bumpy, but worth it.

The most wonderful experience… stayed 4 nights and had the most beautiful views of Torres del Paine from our room for sunrises and sunsets. The staff was so welcoming and made you feel like you were at home with all amenities you wanted. Florencia and Sophie served with smiles and enthusiasm at all times. AND The MEALS… works of art that showcased the gastronomic wonders of Patagonia and Chile.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Florencio we were embraced by comfort and the sense of welcome. Such a beautiful setting but also all the surroundings to make this an experience of true beauty. The food both in the flavours and presentation were art forms. All food preferences of the group accommodated graciously and remembered by the staff for each of the 5 days we were here. I would highly recommend this amazing place as a destination point and a spot to relax after exploring the park

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location which made day trips into the park easy. The rooms and food were excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were kind enough to leave a nice bagged breakfast and lunch for me when I left early in the morning for a hike. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Location and staff were 1st rate. Shout out to Florence, Jose and Vicente! I stayed at 1 of the Puma rooms which had a heater with a mind of its own. This hotel is much better than the bigger ones. More personalized service. Food was excellent. My rating is actually 4.5 stars.
