First time going to an onsen and staying at a ryokan. I was quite impressed with the hotel's service... We traveled by train. When we arrived at the station, there was a staff member who looked after tourists (Tourism Center) who asked where we were staying and arranged for us to take a bus (free ride) to our accommodation. When we arrived at the hotel, there was a staff member who helped carry our luggage and suggested places to visit, including wearing a yukata to go to an onsen in the city!
Our family stayed on the 1st floor (which was very good! We didn't have to climb the stairs because our luggage was very big and there were a lot of them, including a small child). In the room, there was a private onsen for us to soak in, and the hotel also had an onsen for us to soak in (shared with other people in the hotel). The staff who looked after our room was named Datto/Natto (I can't remember his name, it should be something like that). He took very good care of us, but it must be his job, lol. He served food in the room, made the bed for us to sleep on, and also suggested places to soak in an onsen. The food was very good... We wrote a request that we didn't eat meat, so the accommodation prepared a huge crab dinner set for us (more than in the picture). Because it is served continuously, I can't finish it all 5555) Overall, it is good. I recommend it, but the price is a bit high, but it is worth it for the service and accommodation 👍🏻
