Excellent food, wine and room. Staff helpful and all had some English, lucky as we have no Italian. We arrived the last day of high season just before harvest so some things were already closing but they held the pool open just for us. Follows a sustainable model. We did not see any wine production areas during our tasting and tour. Some misunderstandings due to language issues, entry-level translations. Once you arrive it is still uphill with your suitcases and then many stairs to the rooms. Possible some accessible areas available and if needed, should arrange beforehand. We booked breakfast included and it was superb and quite plentiful. Once there you are without any other choices for food or beverage so budget accordingly. They are very helpful with allergies. Best mattress and shower we found in Sicily.

Excellent location, chef and staff in the room prepared excellent evaluation taking care of the smallest details. Nothing to complain quality price adequate treatment definitely deserved the four stars.

Baglio is a pretty peaceful resort nestled in the vineyards. In arrival it was unclear how to find reception from the car park but once found the staff were polite and helpful. Our room was advertised as having a balcony but no rooms have a balcony except the mountain suite which has a terrace. Our room was spacious with hanging space but no drawers. We stayed for four days and the Sky Bar and Swimming Pool are were both closed. The views from the Sky Bar are amazing but it is a long walk. The wine tasting and restaurant were excellent and beautiful but the menu was the same for starter and dessert. Wine pairing was great value but the a la carte was much pricier. The staff were excellent, friendly and very attentive. Breakfast was basic with bread, cheese and meats or pastry cake and fruit. The orange juice was delicious. We stayed for four days which was too long, one or two nights would be enough as nothing to do other than eat and drink. Good base for Salemi, Trapani, Erice Nubia and Marsala. We did get eaten alive by mosquitos and the birds are very noisy, we loved the birds but they may disturb you.

A beautiful location with far reaching views, this small, modern (on the inside) hotel was a haven of delights. The staff were exceptional, helpful and informative and the rooms very comfortable. We were thrilled to find there was a very nice and good-sized pool to relax beside after returning from our tour of Erice. We ate in the restaurant both nights, the first night with the tasting menu trying four different wines from the estate. The food was typically Sicilian, freshly cooked and delicious whilst the wines were very good and very well explained by the knowledgeable sommelier. Nothing could have been better and our whole experience was memorable.

We stayed here at the end of the season and had the place largely to ourselfs. The staff had obviously been reduced so service was not the best but did not really impact our stay. The location is good, a short drive to major sites. Its also very peaceful and a beautiful location. Our room was large and comfortable but the windows are small - but there was a beautiful view. We ate one night in the resturant which was spectacular five star event. We had ond day by the beautiful pool before bad weather moved in. The only downside to this property is the lack of food options. It would have been nice to have simpler meal option.

We went for the cheese and wine tasting. Very well priced and they don’t skimp on the wine! Roberto and the team at the wine tasting were fabulous. Roberto was fun, informative and has so much energy, you couldn’t help but smile and laugh with him. The wine was delicious and so was the food. The view was to die for. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Our dinner was EXCELLENT - black angus beef with pasta; delicious appetizer of tuna carpaccio. Service excellent (Giuseppe and Ylenia). Although room was a good size, it was dark bc windows not large enough, low water pressure and no plastic cups (u should use bottled water and glass cups for recycling). All in all delightful and worth the expense (very very reasonable).
