Gil Haus, nestled on 20 private acres, is the perfect luxurious modern farmhouse for a quick getaway from the city. Built in the late 1930s, the newly renovated stunning interior will spoil you with Bertazzoni appliances and custom clawfoot soaking tub. Enjoy nature from the back porch, relaxing in the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. This secluded home is ideal for a romantic trip, or it can offer a peaceful stay when you want to escape the city. We apologize for any inconvenience, but animals or 'visiting' animals are not allowed. Our well-appointed 3-bedroom, 2 bath home in the Manor/Elgin area is perfect for anyone visiting or working in Austin (30 minutes) or its surrounding areas, with Tesla 27 minutes away. The racing action at the Circuit of the Americas is approximately 30 minutes away. The Grand Lady and world famous Southside Barbecue are close by for folks that want delicious Texas barbecue before walking down the aisle! The king beds have luxury gel memory foam mattresses for a great night's sleep away from home. The two gel memory foam Twin XL beds in the third bedroom are long enough to fit adults. There is also a trundle bed under one of the twin beds. No animals or 'visiting' animals allowed, due to existing medical condition and treatment. The living room is equipped with a 70” Samsung 4k Smart TV. Smart 4k TVs are also in main and second bedrooms. The Smart TVs have apps available for your login and satellite WIFI is available (weather permitting), with laptop friendly workspaces. The stereo is Bluetooth capable, so you can play music from your devices. Room-darkening curtains throughout the home allow you to sleep late and add privacy. The kitchen features high-end stainless-steel appliances, including Bertazzoni electric range, drawer microwave, pot filler and is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, cups and kitchen towels. For your convenience, small appliances are also available: toaster, electric water kettle, blender, stand mixer and waffle maker. A Keurig (with complimentary K-cups), drip coffee maker & a French press is available for coffee lovers. The pantry cabinets are stocked with condiments such as sugar, salt + pepper, olive oil and spices. There are is a local HEB grocery store under 9 minutes from the house, plus a Walmart. The outdoor deck features a small grill and Adirondack style chairs for enjoying the tree covered back yard and fire pit table. If you plan to enjoy the outdoor area, we suggest you bring charcoal, firewood, outdoor bug spray (like Cutter), charcoal starting fluid and a lighter. We apologize, but do not honor refunds for weather-related events. Towels and bed linens are provided during your stay. We cannot allow early or late check-in/check-out. Day/Visiting guests are not allowed per the booking app policy. We do not sell travel insurance, but we highly recommend it for your travel investment. No animals or 'visiting' animals allowed. We have self check-in with an electronic lock to limit face-to-face contact. A unique door code is Active at check-in time and Expires at checkout. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe. HOUSE RULES **Please note: due to Covid cleaning procedures, we are unable to accommodate early arrivals or late check outs.** Failure to check-out by 11 am or checking in before 4 pm will result in an additional charge of no less than $200. Any visitors on the property after 7:00 pm will be counted as Guests and this will result in additional guest charge of no less than $400 per person, per day. This house is not child/baby-proofed. Children must be supervised at all times. PET POLICY This property is not animal friendly. Animals or visiting animals will result in an additional cleaning charge of no less than $800. SMOKING POLICY Do not smoke in the home. Smoking inside will result in an additional cleaning charge of no less than $1000. PROPERTY DAMAGES Disclosure of damages to property and its contents must be made to Host through the booking app at the time they occur. Reasonable repair or replacement costs based on the item/s replacement value and/or labor and materials to repair will be assessed and charged to the Guest.
