We stayed at Cabañas for 4 days, and had an ocean front room on the second floor which came with a private terrace and hot tub. The room was very comfortable and the hotel provided a beach bag, towels, and water in the room (we asked for more everyday and they always brought it right away). The beach is a few steps away and there were always chairs and beach beds available, unlike the big resorts where there are always towels in every chair.The service and kindness of everyone working here sets the place apart, Nancy, David, Lula made our stay very pleasant.The wellness activities that are included were great and allowed us to relax, they also have a pool table that we used when it rained. You can also use the spa which looked great, we didn't have time to try it. We had breakfast at Ziggys everyday which is included and you can get 2 dishes per person so we tried the chilaquiles and fruit salad which were amazing! The hotel is nearby many restaurants, we walked every night to try different ones, bring comfortable shoes as the path to the restaurants gets muddy when it rains.

Best hotel experience to date. Not only is the property abundant with effortless understated sophistication, the staff takes the entire experience to the next level. Everyone from the security to housekeeping to restaurant crew was amazing. They greeted us by our first name every time we saw them and made us feel like family. Special mention to standout people I not consider friends…Nancy, Jessica, Guillermo and Felipe. The were outstanding!

This is our third time in Tulum and this is by far, our favorite place. Everything from the concierge who greeted us to Rosa, who helped make our mornings amazing with some of the best breakfasts we have ever had. Shout out to Fresco's restaurant and their willingness/ability to make such a fantastic meal with all natural ingredients. We will definitely be staying here in the future. It's centrally located (on the beach), close to Tulum Jungle gym, but far enough away from the louder hotels that you can sleep peacefully. Highly highly recommend you check this place out

There are not enough KIND words I can say about the Cabañas hotel! The staff, the amenities, the cleanliness of the beach, and the rooms are impeccable. This was an AMAZING spot to go with friends, but also would have enjoyed with family. The breakfast restaurants (2) are lined with phenomenal meals and service, amongst the delicious smoothies and fresh coconuts. The cleaning service came promptly each morning, and we enjoyed a clean room when returning back each afternoon. The requests (for additional towels, etc.) were immediately addressed, and the staff were all so friendly, gracious, and caring toward guests. On my birthday, they even surprised us by decorating the room and leaving a bottle of complimentary champagne! I hope that this review truly exudes the gratitude we felt for staying at such an amazing place. This is a trip I'll never forget and I could only be lucky enough to return to this hotel & spa! Note that Spa amenities (hot tub, cold plunge, steam room, sauna and ice bucket) are INCLUDED in your stay (along with the breakfast meals!). The hotel is placed perfectly centered on the 'main *****', allowing for an easy walk to any boutique, restaurant, or beach club. We HIGHLY recommend staying here for your next visit to Tulum. My husband and I stayed at Cabanas for our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We opted for a beachfront room with our own plunge pool - such a treat to be so close to the beach. The staff and services offered are top notch; the grounds are immaculate and the every staff member we interacted with is so friendly and personable. Shoutout to our boy Aldo and the front desk ladies. My husband and I will definitely be returning.

Perfect location in the midst of the action. Yet it was super calm and very well isolated. The service was 5 star. The beach was always cleaned, no seaweed. The quality of the food at Ziggy’s / fresco for the breakfast was insane. Every morning, there is an included breakfast: two meal per person + two hot drinks + two cold drinks. There are super healthy options, it’s hands down the best brunch I’ve ever had. The rooms are super comfortable and well maintained. There is always staff on site maintaining and cleaning the property. There’s a security at the beach 24/7. The beach chair are very comfortable and there are also beach beds. Amazing yoga classes !! The spa on site is INSANE The hotel is 5 min walk from the best restaurants in tulum. The staff is so kind and helpful, special thanks to Nancy, Aldo and David @ front desk, Elder, Nicolas, Adolfo @ ziggys and Felipe @ Frescos We , will come back a minimum once a year !

Location was great, right next to sandy and PRIVATE beach, wonderful experience; room service, friendly staff, delicious breakfasts and meals, great cocktails, beautiful spa… we felt like as a pronce and princess :) unforgettable holiday, highly recommended.

Very friendly staff, clean, good food options at the hotel and close by. Was quiet and very peaceful, would definitely stay here again. Very happy there was no loud music playing and both the beach and pool were lovely - lots of places to relax and read
