There is a zoo on Cozumel Island across from the hotel, where several manatees are kept. The manatees are well taken care of. The keepers only feed them fresh lettuce leaves, and the unfresh leaves are peeled and sent to the hotel to make lettuce salad. 1. The food is terrible. Even the most difficult steakhouse to book is average. The waiter in the restaurant is impatient to ask you to order quickly. 2. You can only book dinner after checking in. If you go late, all restaurants are likely to be fully booked. 3. The room service is slow and unpalatable. 4. The distance from the room to the lobby is far and you have to take a battery car, but you have to wait a long time for a battery car to appear.

The location is great. The parking lot is just opposite the hotel. The room is a 2-minute walk from the beach. The beach is wide and there are few tourists. I saw the most beautiful sunrise. The large balcony is surrounded by green plants and is very suitable for sunbathing. It is quieter than other hotels at night. The double shower can take a shower at the same time. The hotel thoughtfully prepared three large bottles of drinking purified water and a woven bag for going out... I like Tulum starting from the hotel.

It was unfortunate that we had some trouble with the reservation, but the service they provided made up for it. When we were unable to make a reservation for one day, they upgraded us and made a reservation at another hotel in the chain. When there was a problem with our rental bike, they arranged for a new bike from another place. And Layla's hotel was wonderful, especially the view from the rooftop pool. If I had to point out one drawback, it would be that the room had a bit of a moldy smell, probably because it was by the pool. It didn't bother me after staying in the room for a while. The other facilities were great, and I would recommend this hotel if you're staying in the downtown Tulum area.
