Xingsu Youth Hostel (Hongshan Mall Branch of Municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital)

The hygiene is really the worst I have ever stayed in a youth hostel. When I arrived, I was alone. The beautiful woman at the front desk gave me a set of sheets to put on. There were yellow spots one by one. I later asked her to change them. He also said that it was like this after washing... When I returned to the room, I hadn't changed the pillowcase yet. I smelled a very obvious smell of hair oil. It was obviously dirty. I took it and changed it myself... There was no one from the previous customer in the bathroom. I flushed it clean, but it was obviously not cleaned. I flushed it several times and it didn't work. The toilet seat was also dirty. I put a disposable toilet cover on myself... As a social person, I really don't like to do all kinds of things. I went to the front desk, especially when the young lady changed my quilt cover, I was a little impatient... I had to boil the drinking water myself, there was no water dispenser... I slept on the lower bunk, and there were oil spots on the top of the bed... similar to those splashed by eating. Kind of... In view of the hygienic situation, I have not experienced the bathroom, so I will not comment.

This stay was really great! When I first arrived at the hotel, I was attracted by the ingenious layout. There are comfortable sofas and free Wi-Fi in the public area, where you can also cook and wash clothes. The room I stayed in was as cozy as home, the bedding was clean and smelled of sunshine, and I had a great sleep at night. The boss and employees are the soul of this place! They were as enthusiastic as old friends and answered all my questions. They also shared a lot of niche tricks that only locals know, which made my trip full of surprises. Here, I also met a group of travel companions from all over the world. It felt great to sit around and chat with each other. The location is also great, with specialty shops and local food right outside your door. The price/performance ratio is very high, and you can enjoy great comfort for a small amount of money.
