A great small boutique hotel on a quiet street. A renovated old townhouse with just a handful of bedrooms. Very spacious room. We had a twin bedded room (2 doubles). Great breakfast - a varied selection of both cooked foods, pastries, fruit, yoghurts and savouries.

One of the best locations , you do have some stairs to climb to get to the hotel , the usual ( old European city) style ! Wifi not great , so don’t depend on that. They have a lift that services 5 floors , if your room is on then6th you’ll need to walk up two flights . They had a power outage , that shorted the aircon , so it was really hot until that was fixed ! And the water pressure was non existent , they advised also due to the power outage . Lovely staff who seemed to work tirelessly to fix minor issues, just small things that keep happening …. If you can choose the junior terrace suite !

Fantastic hotel - perfectly situated in the heart of Valletta, beautiful rooms (well sized and very well decorated) and really great staff (super helpful and friendly). Breakfast was provided and was satisfactory. Highly recommend a stay here.

The reason I am rating this lower is for one thing: not enough hot water for more than a 2 minute shower. Seriously. I timed it. I even woke up one morning at 4:30 AM, thinking I would beat everyone else. Nope. This is a developed country in Europe, there is no excuse for insufficient hot water. Minor complaint: The shower grout was filled with black stuff that was either mold or missing grout. I wasn't getting close enough to find out. Internet speed was around 20, but it would randomly shut off at least once a day. Would be a pain if you were in a work meeting. Hotel itself is in a good location. You're within a 5-10 minute walk of great restaurants. Also 8-10 minutes from the bus station. Bed was OK. There was only one pillow and it wasn't that soft. Towels were usually slightly damp, likely from hang drying. They were big though. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion provided but they are teeny tiny bottles. Breakfast was good. Selection of hot and cold food. The staff was exceptionally friendly and always helpful!! I want to move up to a 3.5/5 just for the staff.

We spent a week there in October. Thank you very much to the entire SU 29 team for their smiles, their kindness and their professionalism. The hotel is ideally located in a quiet little street in Valletta, a few minutes from the Upper Baraka garden, restaurants and the bus station which allowed us to travel throughout the island without reserving a car. Coffee machine (Nespresso style) sugar, tea and herbal tea bags, kettle, refrigerator and bar in the room. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful, the room is very large and the bedding is very comfortable. They were the ones who booked the taxi for us to return to the airport for a very early departure (the plane was at 6:50 a.m. and the taxi was there at 4:30 a.m.). Thanks again everyone

It's a shame the water cylinder isn't enough for 2 baths. During the second bath, the water starts to run cold. The air conditioning also didn't work well. Everything else is fine. Breakfast, staff, room comfort.

Muy buena opción de alojamiento en La Valeta; ubicación inmejorable, excelente servicio y atención del personal. Si bien nuestra habitación no tenía buena ventilación ni luz natural (solo una ventana que daba a un patio interno o pulmón del edificio) estuvimos cómodos. El desayuno muy bien!
