Sally Port Suites

Fantastic apartment and host! The apartment was clean and had a little kitchenette which was really helpful. The roof terrace is a beautiful communal area that we enjoyed using most evenings and the bed in the apartment was really comfortable. The plugs are actually UK plugs with EU adapters in them which was helpful for my stay. Alfredo was so helpful as well we went during a public holiday in Malta so wanted to find a shop that was the open I messaged Alfredo who came back to me with a Google maps link of an open shop. I will absolutely be staying again when I return to Malta

We recently stayed for 8 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Alfredo the manager arranged for an airport transfer so the taxi knew exactly where to go. The apartments are in a great location in a quiet side street, and is very convenient and a short walk to all the sites. All the apartments have different configurations and styles - some modern and some traditional and some with balconies. If you desire a specific style I would request during booking. Our specific apartment (no. 3 on the 2nd floor via elevator) was very modern and spacious, with a decent kitchenette with full size fridge, microwave, hotplate and dishwasher. We bought our own supplies for breakfast from the local food market, and this was very convenient for us. The large bed was firm but comfortable. The big attraction here is the lovely rooftop terrace with views over the Grand Harbour where we enjoyed afternoon drinks. One thing to note is that there are currently building works across the road so we were woken at 7.30am every morning. This is not Sally Port's fault, but something to be aware of as we think it will be ongoing for some months.

Terrible customer service from Sally Port owners and team. Poor communication when messaging them, they ask you to contact them via WhatsApp and then never reply to your messages. Had to chase them for a reply on many occasions. Location was good though.

The owners (Liliana and Alfredo) were exceptionally helpful in managing our stay, and, if our experience is anything to go by, guests staying at a Sally Port apartment can rely upon a premium service throughout their stay. We were really well looked after. The Suites are in an ideal central location for visiting Valetta. We stayed for a single night in the (smart, modern, comfortable) studio apartment. This was fine for an overnight stay in order to catch an early flight next morning. However, the kitchenette facility was decidedly minimalist. Anyone intending to stay for longer, and seriously self-catering, would be strongly advised to consider the largest of the three apartments (and, perhaps, to research options for buying food supplies etc, given the location). Note: the management communicated with us via WhatsApp when not on site. This worked perfectly but intending guests presumably need to be comfortable using smartphone instant messaging. Also, the view from our room wasn't brilliant, but then, hey, we were staying in the centre of Valetta during a period of economic growth!

An excellent location for our trip to Valletta. We had a lovely little balcony in Apartment number 4 to spend an hour in the sun in the late afternoon. Excellent prompt communication with the owners throughout via WhatsApp. There was some early morning noise coming from a building site across the street which our hosts dealt with immediately. Very responsive! Lovely rooftop area with great harbour views - a great space to end the night. They are working on an outdoor kitchen up there which will be great in the future. Highly recommended for bookings, and would be our top choice for a return to Valletta.

Great location, a few minutes walk to lots of bars, restaurants and many of the tourists sites. The apartment was clean and well decorated. Check in was easy. Very good communication from the hosts , very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely touch of a bottle of fizz for our anniversary. The rooftop terrace view is amazing, perfect spot for breakfast! Would highly recommend the apartment
