This hotel is SUPERB in every way. Their location is within walking distance to one of the train stops (we didn't use, but its 5 minutes away), a short 10 minute walk to the cruise terminals/seawall. We stayed 2 days prior to an Alaskan cruise and everything was amazing. The level of service was genuine and fantastic. So often these days you can feel like someone is ”going through the motions”. That is not at all the case here. The front desk greeted us warmly upon our arrival, and was so personable. The hotel is beautiful! A historical building restored beautifully both inside and out. The lobby area is amazing with dark beautiful woods. We were upgraded from a standard room to one of the largest standard rooms, overlooking the museum directly across the street. Upgrades are amazing, but just know they aren't always possible! Food - We at breakfast both mornings in the lobby lounge. Which saying sounds odd... but it is such a cozy spot. Food and service, again were fantastic. Room Service was also delicious! Concierge was so genuinely interested in ensuring we enjoyed out time in Vancouver! I look forward to a return trip where we will likely include some time back at the Hotel Georgia and some time in Whistler as well. Thanks to all at the Hotel Georgia for making our two days such an incredible experience!

The location was perfect, and the room was quite spacious for the two of us, my teenager son and i, as we were in town for university campus visits. The beds were very comfortable, and the Starbucks in the lobby, and the mosaic restaurant served good food (for lunch). Parking was right down in the basement, and was very convenient. We parked the car there and walked around Robson avenue for shopping. Checkout was also very speedy and done online, without the need to line up.

It is a twin suite, so the sofa in the living room can be pulled out to sleep. The hotel is small and in a good location in the city center business district, next to the Fairmont Hotel.
The elevator is small and can only accommodate a family without being able to turn around. Fortunately, there are not many residents. The front desk had a nice smile, but they made a mistake about the room I booked. When I opened the door, I found that I had been given a double bed room. As a result, our family was very unhappy as we had to go up and down with our puppy. After all, the place is small and it’s very uncomfortable. Depressed. I won’t stay here again next time I come, it’s really frustrating. There were a lot of noises around the room at night, and the phone rang twice inexplicably in the middle of the night. The sofa bed was so soft that I tossed and turned and couldn't sleep, and the pillows were a mess. The hotel only has valet parking, which costs $50/night, and an additional fee of $50/night for dogs. There is only one restaurant on the first floor, which is said to be a Michelin-starred chef, but I spent $300 and I really didn’t get a lot of delicious food. The portion served was at Michelin-level standards—a tiny bit, but the taste was totally worth it. Breakfast is charged a la carte, minimum $30/person/person. In short, although the waiter's attitude is very good, but despite the inconvenience and depression caused by living in such a small space, international hotel chains are more comfortable. At a price of $300/night, you can stay in a brand new super five-star hotel in China.

We booked a junior suite with access to the club lounge. The suite was ok, not exactly huge as we had to lay our second cabin sized suitcase in the living area, which by the way did not have a door between it and the bedroom.
The club lounge was very average, not exactly club like as there were kids, babies and toddlers as well as adults in singlets and shorts. Soft beverages were available as were snacks but alcohol had to be purchased. Pretty average compared to other club lounge in terms of the breakfast. We should have gone with a std room and bought breakfast outside .

Paradox Hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time. We typically stay at Four Seasons, Fairmont’s, and other hotels similar to these types of hotels. Paradox had first class service starting at the valet (Marty), along with all individuals at the front counter. To top off our stay, we had Andrew from concierges that took great care of us, as he went above and beyond for my wife’s 40th birthday celebration. -I will be writing a person letter to Andrew, for all the amazing things he did to make our stay so memorable. It’s hard to put into words the results of our trip, as all of it was amazing, from the lounge (Megan/Morgan/Vanessa were all fantastic and were extremely friendly. To the Mansion nightclub, where everyone was fantastic and provided amazing service, as we decided to get table service for the birthday celebration. If anyone is contemplating staying at the Paradox, do not think twice about booking, you will not regret it. Also, amazing walking distance to so many amazing shops and restaurants. All-in-all, we will be back to see all the amazing people we met and we look forward to our next trip to the Paradox Hotel.

The service at the front desk was excellent, they provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. The view from the room was excellent as we were placed on a high floor and had an amazing view of downtown Vancouver. The furniture in the room was a little outdated, and the water pressure in the shower was a little weak. The location of the hotel was great as it was in a very central area of the city. Overall, our stay was a good one.

We stayed in this property for just one night before our Alaska cruise. The location is it's USP and we actually walked down to Canada Place to board our cruise. The rooms are spacious and bright and there is complimentary coffee available in the reception. Eateries are all around and the Pacific Mall is within walking distance. We had a very comfortable stay!

The hotel is located in a very nice location, we got a great view from our room. We were not very happy with the service though, as we arrived at the hotel, we weren’t greeted even though there were 3 people working at the valet nobody directed us where to park. I made eye contact with them but they just continued on chatting. Parking is also quite expensive ($45/ night for self-parking).

Mmiji_liuSmall boutique hotel with few rooms. The hotel location is good and quiet. Hotel service is good, chocolate and water will be delivered at night. The toiletries are a sample of L'Occitane and the replenishment is timely. The only downside is that breakfast is the same every day, but the waiters are very kind. Especially a staff member named Dom who was very good to us!
GGuest UserI have some concerns regarding my experience at The Sutton Hotel. Firstly, I noticed that the front desk staff didn't seem very patient or eager to assist Chinese guests like myself. This made me feel somewhat unwelcome.
Secondly, I found the hotel rooms to be quite dusty, despite our efforts to keep them clean. Surprisingly, the dust accumulated rapidly on the bedside table and telephone. I suspect that the air inside the room might be the cause of this issue, as even the air conditioning panel appeared to be covered in dust.
I believe these observations are worth addressing by the hotel management to improve the overall experience for all guests, regardless of their nationality. It would be beneficial if steps were taken to enhance the cleanliness of the rooms and ensure a more welcoming and accommodating atmosphere for all visitors.
GGuest UserWe have a bad experience with St. Regis. We told the front desk to help us to book a big taxi for 4 people to take us to airport in early morning, but the staff didn't mark it properly, when we double checked the 2nd time, the order wasn't there and turned out a small taxi came and they needed to reorder a big one for us.
They mixed up the room charge, it was remarked to pay at the hotel, first time the staff gave us the wrong info that both rooms were already charged to my card. Then the next day, they said it was not charged yet, we told them we paid by different credit cards, but when we checked out, they charged both rooms on my card without my permission. Finally, they cancelled 1 room payment and charge it back to my friend's card. This is very unprofessional and I haven't received my statement yet and not sure if they really cancelled the wrong payment.
GGuest UserStayed here with my partner for 3 nights while in town for a concert, the hotel location was great because it is like a block away from the harbour and if you’re comfortable with walking it’s a 45 minute walk to English Bay and like 15 min or less to Robson street. They do have a restaurant located in the lobby and the food always smelt amazing, but because we were only there for 3 nights we were more focused on trying different food places around Van, though we plan to come back and try the food at the lounge. The beds were comfy and the room was quaint and all we needed since we spent most of the time out of the hotel room and just came back to rest. Check in and check out was also very easy and fast.
GGuest UserHotel is in a great location and walking to everything is very convenient. Staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs. Rooms are very clean and great value for the money. Check in and check out process is very quick so you can enjoy the facilities and the area around the hotel
PPhillipSulThe hotel appears newly renovated, it is quite clean but the room is a bit small. Ordered for a king size bed but given 2 large king size beds, hence there is no desk if you want to eat and drink in the room.
The location is very good at downtown city center, close by to train stations and public transport. It is within a walking distance to waterfront and Yaletown.
Receptionist service staff are quite friendly, especially Priscilla, she has been very good for letting me early check in at 8.30 AM. I was also allowed for a late check out at 12PM. I would recommend this hotel for anybody whilst in Vancouver.
BBetty CCCWe only stayed for one night. It had two bedrooms, one living room and one bathroom. The space was very comfortable and fully equipped like a home, with microwaves, coffee machines, instant pots, stoves, refrigerators, desks, etc.
There is a TV in each room and the living room. There are makeup mirrors and bedside tables in the bedrooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The scenery outside the windows is very good.
The bed was very soft. I originally thought it would be too soft to sleep on, but I ended up having a good sleep until dawn. It was very comfortable.
The location is great and very convenient for shopping. There are many stores downstairs where you can buy food. There are McDonald's, Japanese ramen, and Zhenzhudan across the street~
The Chinese restaurant next door to Zhen Zhu Dan also has great food. The boss is very polite and will chat with you and recommend delicious meals to you.
GGavin AndrewSuite with one bed in a room, two beds in the main room which is an open studio to a kitchen. Small balcony too!
Great location at the end of Robson Street so can walk into the action, but still fairly quiet.
Prob want to open the windows to air the room out a bit after cleaning, but perfectly fine.
Watch out for small charges. We didn't hit any tripwires, but there is a 2.4% charge for credit card and clean up fees if you leave dirty dishes and such. So don't leave in a hurry!
Check in and check out was quick. The hotel doesn't seem to have facilities, but when you have a kitchen in the room, quite OK!
Would def go again. Note that the old hotel name is still on the front, so don't be confused. Worked out fine.
GGuest UserHad three wonderful days at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. This is my third time at the property and second for the gold floor. It was fantastic. The service is of the highest quality. The gold floor supervisor and associates worked very hard to ensure a seamless experience. The room was spacious, the bathroom and rainforest shower was almost as big as the room itself! Good water pressure and hot water available at any time. The king bed was luxurious and the room spotlessly clean. The turndown service restocks the bottled water in the room along with the nespresso capsules. It was very quiet at night and the breakfasts were delicious. The evening canapes were equally amazing. The location of the hotel is in walking distance of everything downtown. A good half hour walk to Stanley park, 15 minutes to Coal Harbour and Gas Town all make this an ideal spot. The wifi was fast. Nothing was too difficult for the staff. Was not able to make High Tea reservations prior to arrival and they found us a table for 4 people with very short notice. I will definitely stay here again.
AanzhuzhuVery good location at a great price! Highly recommend this place especially with amazing staff and daily housekeeping! The building itself is definitely slightly aged, but it's evident that the current management/owners are doing their best to improve the facilities.
The good - affordable coin laundry, communal kitchen, very big rooms, amazing rooftop patio and sauna, impeccable location in Vancouver downtown
The not so good - no breakfast options, communal kitchen's own pots and pans look iffy, slightly aged facilities (but the communal areas are definitely renovated in recent years)
Will stay again if I'm ever in that area!
