I spent 2 nights at Villa Kerasy to visit my family nearby. It was a great choice. The hotel is very charming and very well maintained. Room was upscale and was very nicely decorated and very quiet. Nice bed, nice bathroom. Coffee machine with Nespresso capsules. Safe and bar in the room. Room service was excellent. We also had a nice little area outside (Cochin room) with chairs. Breakfast was very nice and expansive with lots of good pastries. Parking outside was free and very convenient. Hotel staff was extremely nice, friendly and useful. So overall it was a great stay and I highly recommend this hotel for all the services as well as the location which is great as very close to the old city. An excellent choice.

A most welcoming, comfortable hotel, close to Vannes station, about 15 minutes walk to the historic centre. A very friendly welcome; pleasant modern room with good shower/ WC. The hotel has an oriental theme based on old French trading posts, well furnished and with all facilities. Our room had a nice little external space and was very quiet. The bed was comfortable.

A beautiful, peaceful hotel in Vannes. High quality accommodation. Great sense of tranquillity yet located close to the train station. Easy walking to the centre of Vannes yet the station gives you a chance to explore the Brittany area further afield. Vannes is a great place to explore - the medieval centre plus numerous top class markets and places to eat. Villa Kerasy has a great team of responsive staff who look after you thoroughly and deal with any questions you might have. You certainly don't feel like an anonymous customer!

Our second stay, this time with our children! Lovely big rooms which were adjoining - ideal for a family of four. Lovely warm historic interiors. Only a few minutes walk from the old centre of Vannes and just across the road from the TGV station.

We had a "private garden" room, which is the most expensive category. Good points: Efficient Air Con; Quiet; Comfortable bed. Not so good: Poor breakfast offering (but expensive); poor pillows; No reserved parking (we were initially told to park on the road). Overall, "Pretty good"

Despite the location right opposite the train station, Villa Kerasy feels like a garden oasis, especially if you choose one of rhe ground floor garden rooms with their own mini courtyard: sip your tea and listen to the birds chittering. Tea/coffee facilities in each room. The staff were - without exception - discreetly attentive and always smiley.

No complaints about this hotel. Our room which faced the back was quiet and had a private patio surrounded by a wall and fence keeping out any street noise. There’s a small parking lot behind the building (not big enough for everyone) but there is some street parking in the area. The Vannes train station is literally across the street which may be convenient for some. We never heard the trains from our room in the rear. The walk to the northern tip of old town is 10 minutes (20 minutes if you’re going to the port on the south side). I don’t mind walking but the it isn’t through a charming part of town. It’s not sketchy, but theres really nothing of interest. We declined breakfast at the hotel and instead picked up pastries at Boulangerie pâtisserie Lyautey, a 6-min walk south from the hotel.

Pros Located very close to the Vannes train station. Modern hotel , decent sized and well designed bathroom and bedroom . Pleasant staff. Cons While close to the train station, the hotel is not that close to the historical center of Vannes. Getting there and back is complicated by the topography of the old city which is set on various small hills. In the bathroom the shower is over a tub , if you do take a bath the liquid soap container is completely out of your reach. Solid soap not provided
