"Hôtel Lovely and clean but ridiculous prices to use facilities or eat within hotel. Location convenient. Parking was not available to us though was on offer through hotel (but inconveniently fully booked)- hotel could have offered reimbursement. Coffee pot in an inconvenient location of room and not cleaned. Temperature not adjustable from 18 downwards- only warmer. Disappointed spa and pool were not included in very high price of room."

"Very well located hotel: 10 min from the train station, 10 min from the center, 5 min from the ramparts, 15 min from the port. Decor recently redone. Friendly and smiling staff. Good breakfast (€12). But it is a small hotel: small breakfast room so you have to give a schedule. Small room (approx. 1m around the bed) and small bathroom (impossible to fit 2 people)... Only the shower cubicle is spacious..."

"I have to say I was quite surprised when reading other guests’ comments mentioning that the rooms were spacious enough. In our case, it really felt like we had the smallest room in the hotel. To give an idea, when sitting in the bathroom, there was barely enough space between your knees and the door once it was closed. The hotel is very well positioned, just a few minutes’ walk from the historical centre of Vannes, which made it easy to explore everything on foot. The room was clean, which is always appreciated. I was surprised there was no air conditioning, a fan was provided, but during this extremely hot weather it’s simply not enough. Also, there were no small amenities like a kettle with tea and instant coffee, or a coffee machine, which most hotels now offer. The soundproofing was also minimal. Starting early in the morning, we could clearly hear the cleaning staff, other guests, and doors shutting loudly, which made it difficult to sleep in…especially on a weekend getaway when you want to rest. Overall, it’s a very basic hotel that works for a short stay if location is your top priority, but it lacks comfort features we’ve come to expect."

"This hotel is convenient if you are travelling by car as it has plenty of free parking however it is a bit of a walk to the town centre and you will need to be taking a taxi to get back to the hotel in the evening as it is not a very pleasant walk - a choice between walking through a housing estate or along a busy main road. The hotel itself is nothing special, the rooms are clean and comfortable but quite basic. It felt very much like a business hotel rather than a tourist hotel, the bar is not very welcoming in the evening as all the lights were switched off and there was nobody there. On the plus side - The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was fantastic."
