This hotel has a nice city view and gardens. Play structures for kids. Restaurant with a wine tasting and pick your own fish dinner, plus many other choices. However, the most interesting thing is the animal theme. Each room has its own animal theme, vey tastefully done. Throughout the hotel there are monkey lights and animal art. Check out the Adam and Eve bathrooms in the common area. The rooms do have a shower room / bathroom setup instead of a shower stall with a door. Friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed here for three days and enjoyed it. This is a family run business which proved to be friendly and extremely helpful, especially in helping us arrange bus tickets and other transport. Language was no barrier at all with staff commanding varying degrees of fluency, and a handy translating machine on the premises. The bathroom facilities are basic but not unusual, and consistent with a heritage building. We appreciated the kitchenette and dining area for preparing breakfast/lunch. The location was terrific; quiet as away from the bars and traffic. Parking is an issue. All in all, fantastic for organised budget travellers. Highly recommended, with our thanks to and appreciation of our hosts

Very close to the castle, the service staff is very polite, but the bed is softer, the facilities are older, but the overall feeling is good, worthy of praise!

The hotel is pretty old and the room is quite old fashioned and ill maintained. Breakfast is not buffet with very limited choices. The only pro of the hotel is near VT 7 min drive. The swimming pool was not opened yet and was under maintenance while the pool is quite small.

This hotel is very difficult to stay in. I saw a phone number posted at the entrance of the hotel. It was too expensive to make international roaming calls, so I added whatsapp, but I didn’t answer the phone by sending a short message. It took 2 hours to contact the owner and then like a secret room escape. Find the key to open the door. If there is no Whatsapp or people with poor English, it is recommended not to book this hotel. In addition, it is difficult to reach by car. The alley is very narrow and very steep downhill. The door can park 2 cars. If you don't drive, you have to carry your luggage and walk for more than 10 minutes.
