The hotel is located in a unique location, 5 minutes walk from the Bra Square and the summer sand.
The very comfortable room, breakfast, good and varied, is made in the hotel just in front of the front rack.
I was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as I’m an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city — most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) — I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices.
The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated — the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the city’s history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day.
The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories I’d carry with me from this trip.
Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. She’s super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work!
Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didn’t eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if that’s something you like then you’d be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes.
The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (I’m petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe they’re scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so it’d be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers.
Location awesome, walking distance to town.
All in all, nothing to complain about. Everything went well. Room was clean, large and the private bathroom - though not ensuite, was great . Communication also clear and fuss free via whatsapp with the propriétaire.
It is not badly located, next to the station and the historical center, in the room is clean, there is all necessary, fresh repair, friendly staff.
What can be improved: The automatic registration system does not work perfectly (just after its passing did not come a message to the mail, came a couple of hours later, and the girl administrator arrived in 5 minutes, so it was not necessary to wait).
Hotel recommends if you are in Veronica, I am pleased to stop again:)
The location is good, in 15 minutes you can walk to most of the attractions and restaurants. Staff is very nice. The room is spacious enough for our family of 3. There is even a jacuzzi in the bathroom but just no time to try it! Verona is a city full of young people. Can see groups of students everywhere. Not just going to touch the famous Juliette's breast!

Great
EErokhinEverything was a perfect. Staff, rooms, location, breakfast. Highly recommended to visit.
BBOHotel breakfast is basically a Western-style buffet, you can only say ordinary. Within a ten minute walk from the train station, it is convenient to walk to various attractions and business districts for about 15 minutes. European hotels are very clean.
AAileendengThe location is very good, the room is not bad, the facilities are complete, the travel is convenient, our car is parked outside, there is no charge.
LLUThe hotel is located 16 minutes walk from the train station and 3 minutes walk from the ancient city. Clean, tidy, comfortable, quiet, good service, good breakfast. You can rest assured to choose to stay here.
GGuest User#Praise# Satisfied with security, room size, room layout, lighting in the room, location, sound insulation; enthusiastic landlord, very good service. highly recommended Super cost-effective
PPei ShanAt first, I was hesitant to book this hotel because of the limited reviews. I wasn't sure whether to choose this one or another 4-star hotel, but in the end, I went with this hotel due to its proximity to the train station (1 km) and better rates. To my surprise, everything was great—the room was a good size and very clean. There's also an elevator to reach the rooms, so you don't have to worry about carrying your luggage up stairs. staff are friendly too , they will recommend you where to visit in Verona.
The downside, however, is that the room's soundproofing isn't very strong. I could hear people running or walking in the corridor outside. Additionally, the room key is a traditional key with a heavy keychain, rather than a key card. But it wasn't a major issue for me, as you can leave the key at the reception. The breakfast was decent for the price.
YYee KiThe location is very close to tourist attractions, but it takes ten minutes to get to the train station. The middle road is mostly uneven, and some roads are being renovated, dragging the suitcase to walk more difficult.
The room is clean as a whole, with a more ancient decoration and a thin space. You need to leave a low key for entry and exit. Breakfast is less choice, but the price is reasonable.
NNatalya_IlHotel at the minimum price , about it in 5-10 minutes walk from the center. Master Luigi sent the instruction in advance, no problems arose. Goed on the pin code, waited inside the envelope with the key. Excellent wi-fi.
