We loved our stay here . We wish we had more time to enjoy all the great amenities. The hotel staff Naiara H and Nicola W were so kind, helpful and welcoming. They helped with all aspects of our stay and made our vacation memorable. Love the included breakfast and such great view from our balcony Thank you for such a great memory

We stayed here for two days, it was an overwhelming experience. The location is perfect for visiting the attractions in and around Luzerne. There are a good number of mountain trails from backyard of the hotel which can be explored. Beautiful sunset views are not to be missed if one is staying there.

Stunning location with the most phenomenal views of the lake, beautiful hotel grounds, professional service all round, amazing breakfast and the spa was incredible! Best hotel we stayed in our Swiss roadtrip. Although it’s a little dated, it has a real charm about it and has been well looked after. The only negatives would be expensive dinner and the small awkward bathroom layout - tiny shower with curtain next to toilet and the washbasin was in the bedroom. Overall though, it was fantastic.

We stayed 4 nights. We choosed a room with view "montagne". The room is well decorated, with a sofa suitable as 3rd bed (if needed). The bathroom is so small that the washbasin is in the room itself. As the house is an old mansion, the windows are rather small, so the room has a tendency to be dark. There is no fridge and no air conditioning in the room. We received a small bottle of water each day. The house keeping was low cost, as can witness the little spot of mud on the floor that we did the very first day and throughout all our stay. The view "montagne" was nice but not quiet as it gives on the parking and the main entrance. We had every night the nuisance of "jolly people"! The breakfast was good. Large choice of bred, cold meat, smoked salmon, local cheese, yogurt and muesli. You could have eggs (omelet, fried egg, boiled) but you have to fill a form in order to have it. You do the job of the waiter! The pool with the little spa is nice after a hiking day. This hotel needs some improvements to be a really good hotel, it has the potential. A breathtaking view on the lake and a very beautiful building doesn't make it all !

The FloraAlpina is a very atmospheric hotel in a beautiful location. The staff is friendly and warm. The wellness area is not particularly large, but with its outdoor area overlooking the landscape it is very attractive. The price/performance ratio is good, even in the hotel's own restaurant. The breakfast is plentiful. It is advisable to arrange a table reservation for dinner in the restaurant on site and not to be tied to a time that is not convenient for you. We stayed at the hotel over the Easter holidays. There were sweets at breakfast and an Easter egg hunt with prizes. That was very nice. Unfortunately, the hotel has not had access to the lake for a few years now. It is therefore not possible to swim in the lake in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

In March 2024 we took part in a Peter Denlo crime weekend here. Although the furnishings in our rather small room are a bit dated, we felt very comfortable. Everything was pleasantly clean and the view of Lake Lucerne from the room was fantastic. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful. The egg dishes (scrambled eggs, omelettes, etc.), which the kitchen prepared exactly according to the guests' wishes, were great. You have to get the coffee yourself from the self-service buffet. The dinners were really well prepared and served in a beautifully presented manner (with flower decorations on the edge of the plate). We really enjoyed it. The hotel staff are friendly and pleasantly attentive. Guests can use a small spa area, which has various saunas, a whirlpool and a swimming pool (which was still closed at the beginning of March). There are guest parking spaces in front of the house, some of which are even covered. With its three stars, the Flora Alpina met all our expectations, even exceeded them, especially when it came to the culinary part. And so we are happy to recommend this hotel.
