"Stunning location with the most phenomenal views of the lake, beautiful hotel grounds, professional service all round, amazing breakfast and the spa was incredible! Best hotel we stayed in our Swiss roadtrip. Although it’s a little dated, it has a real charm about it and has been well looked after. The only negatives would be expensive dinner and the small awkward bathroom layout - tiny shower with curtain next to toilet and the washbasin was in the bedroom. Overall though, it was fantastic."

It sits right near the train/funicular that takes one up to the top of Mt Rigi (special hiking and views). Relaxing sitting room and delightful spa. The lakeside restaurant opened just for us on a beautiful warm fall day."

"The hotel is right by the lake and the scenery is very beautiful. From Viztnau disembarkation. The hotel door is the small train station on Rigi Mountain, which is very convenient. Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, the bread tastes good. The reception lady is amiable. highly recommended."

"This is a nice property with a magnificent setting . But never have I Paid so much for so little . We were in a tiny room with a tiny bed overlooking the parking lot for over $700 Cdn . This might be more of a comment on the whole of Switzerland as much as this Hotel . Once you get over the initial sticker shock of everything I guess one needs to just enjoy the spectacular sights of this well run country"
