My wife and I stayed at Bercher the second week of September. We were on bikes riding the Southern Black Forest Cycle Route from Freiburg. This long-time family owned and run hotel was an excellent choice for our stay. The very nice town center is a 5-minute walk. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Provided secure place for our bikes, Dinner was simply excellent and the included breakfast one of the best of our 3-week trip. Highly recommended!

Wonderful hotel, big rooms, very king staff! Very nice Spa and wellness! Typical great German breakfast! Really nothing to complain about! Nice mountains around the small town! Zurich and Bern is one to one and a half hour from this place! We stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days and we really loved it! Ooh yeah, last but not least, the hotel is for more that 100 years and four generations in the same family! One can tell, see and feel!

Das Hotel liegt am Bahnhof, Verkehr ist enorm, vor allem zur Hauptstraße. Fenster sind doppelt somit ist die Geräuschkulisse einigermaßen erträglich, sofern man es aushält diese zuzulassen. Dadurch ist es aber im Zimmer (trotz Außentemperatur von nur 16 Grad) unerträglich warm. Schön es gibt eine Klimaanlage, diese macht aber Extreme Geräusche, also wieder ausmachen und schwitzen. Zu der Tatsache das es warm ist gesellt sich eine Daunendecke und ein chemisch plastikhafter Matratzenschoner. Die Matratzen sind nicht hart - nein - sondern Bretthart. Somit ist eine ordentliche Nachtruhe erledigt. Selten so schlecht geschlafen. Ansonsten ist es sauber. Einrichtung ist zwischen rustikal und 80'er Stil. Für den Preis zu teuer, fraglich ob die anderen Bewertungen stimmen oder die Zimmer so indifferent sind. Für ältere Personen würde ich das Hotel nicht empfehlen da es sehr verschachtelt ist, lange Gehwege mit Absätzen und Stufen hat. Des weiteren ist die Saunalandschaft im Nassbereich mit extrem glatten Fliesen ausgestattet, hier besteht enorme Rutschgefahr. Wer verlegt denn so einen Mist im Nassbereich ! Unzumutbar. Alles in allem - einmal und nie wieder.

Vorab möchte ich gleich feststellen: Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kundenorientiert. Im Restaurant gabs für mich einen Tomaten-Mozzarella Salat. Er war sehr gut, doch mit dem Mozzarella wurde doch ein wenig gespart. Das Selbe galt für das Gordon Bleu, welches geschmacklich top war, aber bestimmt nicht mit seiner Größe glänzen konnte. Die Zimmer sind rustikal ausgestattet und sauber. Die Wände sind sehr hellhörig. Als ich aufs Zimmer kam, konnte ich meinen Zimmernachbarn die brasilianischen Regenwälder zusammensägen hören. Auch am morgen hört man jedes Gespräch oder Telefonat in den umliegenden Zimmern. Das ist vermutlich dem Alter des Hauses geschuldet. Was aber leider gar nicht geht, ist das Bett. Die Kombi aus Bett und Matratze war so weich und ich hatte immer das Gefühl, es gibt ein Gefälle mit dem Kopf nach unten. Also blieb mir nichts anderes übrig, als die Matratze heraus zu nehmen und mit ihr auf dem Boden zu schlafen. Das ist leider ein großer Minuspunkt. Deshalb gibt es leider nur ein "durchschnittlich".

Dit familiaal hotel heeft ons erg gecharmeerd. Mooie ruime kamer met terras. Zeer vriendelijk onthaal en oplossingsgericht (o.m. berging en lading van elektrische fietsen). Zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Top is ook het uitgebreide en zeer mooie wellness-center. Dit hotel is een absolute aanrader. De pater familias gaf ons bij vertrek nog enkele fietstips mee.

Hotel molto bello e pulito. Camere confortevoli e tutte rinnovate . Veramente belle e accoglienti. La colazione è completa e internazionale. C'è veramente di tutto. Non ho avuto la possibilità di cenare in hotel perché la domenica sera è il giorno di riposo. Parcheggio gratuito difronte l'hotel.

Top moderne eingerichtete Zimmer mit allemwas man braucht. Die Klimaanlage und die Regendusche war sehr angenehm. Die Wellness Angebote sollten jedoch frühzeitig zum Aufenthalt gebucht werden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
