This is an excellent motel and we will try to stay here every time we come to Whanganui in future. The rooms are very well equipped, with a kitchenette that has lots of little extras for example a roll of glad wrap. The staff are really welcoming and friendly, and if we could give 10 stars, we would.

I had a really great stay here! The rooms are super warm and comfy, with all amenities one could need. I also really appreciated the helpfulness and generosity of the hosts, who made me feel at home. It is convenient to all the major supermarkets also, which is very handy when visiting from out of town.

Central, and although somewhat dated ,this Motel was absolutely spotless and the Proprietor friendly and very helpful Siena Motel is located on one of the main roads and is in easy walking distance to the key shopping precinct and cafes and restaurants I would definitely stay again

The Siena Motor Lodge is a great place to stay which is withing walking distance to the centre of town and close to supermarkets. Very tidy rooms with good lighting and great showers. Also has Sky cable tv and is very spacious. We've stayed here twice and would highly recommend.

Stayed two nights. My unit was spacious and very well appointed. Internet access patchy though and kept dropping out, probably due to being in an end unit as the signal was much stronger outside. I left a note to this effect for the manager. Overall the unit felt homely and was very happy here. I would not hesitate to stay here again, which I shall.

Two of us recently stayed in a One Bedroom Unit. Exceptionally spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed, good bathroom & kitchen facilities. Plus everything you could want for a convenient place to stay. There were welcome little extras provided that you don’t usually find at motel. Throughly recommended.

The motel is located on the main city road just out of the city centre. Our room had a kitchenette, couch and table and chairs. It was a little dated but had everything you needed. The bathroom was compact with a good shower. The TV had Sky channels and the Wi-Fi worked well. Parking is in front of the unit. We requested a quiet room but had one close to the road so we could hear the traffic especially in the morning.

From the moment we walked into the reception area to dropping our keys off the following day everything was excellent. We hadn’t booked, but checked in smoothly and went to our room. It was simple but had everything we could need. It was neat and tidy and very well organised. We had directions to the local shop and bought a m/w meal. We walked around riverside which was a short walk away. The shower was good and powerful. We enjoyed a good night’s sleep and then we were up and off early the next day.
