nice hotel. everything is provided. Food is very good. Rooms are a little passed, but still ok. Bath and shower. Very friendly! the picture of there hotel is not in every room like that :). very near the highway , so that's cerainly a plus point.

Fine hotel and very cheap. Friendly and easy checking and checkout. A guy checked us in and spoke really good English - he did a good job. We came to the hotel after a 8 hour drive from France so we were a bit tired. So it was good to find the Room inice and clean. The beds are good and it is a silent place. 24 hour reception is good and gives a feeling of security. Parking is pricey for 13 Euros per night. The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from city center with Goethes house.

Wir waren das erste Mal in Weimar und sind in diesem tollen Hotel untergekommen. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, super sauber. Alle Mitarbeiter, mit denen wir zu tun hatten waren sehr nett und sehr aufmerksam. Das haben wir uns beim tollen, vielfältigen Frühstück gerne gefallen lassen. Nie kam der Eindruck auf, eine Bitte wäre zuviel alles wurde gerne und schnell erledigt. Mein Mann lässt auch noch die Sauna lobend erwähnen. Sie ist großzügig gestaltet, modern und super sauber. Ein Wasserspender ist vorhanden und Tee kann man sich auch kochen. Kurz gesagt, ein Hotel zum in rundum Wohlfühlen.

Stayed for two nights, perfect location for exploring the town, comfortable beds and pillows, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Some interesting large old tapestries in the reception and dining room area. Car parking charges could be cheaper, though.

Ein kleines Juwel inmitten der Altstadt, super gelegen, familiär und herzlich! Familien haben hier alles, was sie brauchen (Gitterbetten aus Holz, Wickeltisch, Utensilien , Waschmaschine etc.) und können die Kombination einer großzügigen Ferienwohnung mit dem Komfort eines Hotels genießen. Wir (2 Mütter mit 2 Babys unter 1 Jahr) konnten die Seele baumeln lassen. Die Zimmer sind charmant aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet und kommen in einer tollen Holzoptik daher. Die Balkone haben einen schönen Blick in den Innenhof und besonderes Highlight war die Dachterrasse. Auch das Essen im Restaurant bzw. Frühstück lohnt sich sehr, wenngleich nicht ganz günstig. Dafür ist alles frisch und mit Liebe gemacht. Die Mitarbeiter sind wie alte Freunde und gehen jederzeit gerne zur Hand. Vor allem Ali und Bruno haben uns den Aufenthalt versüßt. Wir hatten eine rundum gelungene Zeit und kommen gerne wieder!

Wir sind zufällig abends als Gäste in der Bar gelandet. Vorher keine guten Erfahrungen kulinarischer Art und hinsichtlich des zum Essen passenden Weinangebots gemacht. Aber hier: ein absoluter Profi hinter dem Bartresen! Es hat richtig Freude gemacht, zu beobachten und auch selbst zu erfahren, mit welcher professionellen Hingabe die Drinks bereitet wurden. Wir waren vorher 4 Wochen in Frankreich und mussten feststellen, dass auch dort die Professionalität im Gastronomiebereich kaum noch zu finden war. Umso begeisterter waren wir in der Bar im Hotel Schillerhof in Weimar! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und haben auch schon im Freundeskreis darüber berichtet. Also: absolut Empfehlenswert und leider schon eine sehr positive Ausnahme!
