The Dawn of Yihe Hotel

The location is excellent, the environment is also superb, and the room is very comfortable. Because it is off-season, we are the only one staying here, so the breakfast is very average, but it is very quiet and I am very satisfied

🌿Beyond the hustle and bustle of Dali and Lijiang, I discovered the treasure of the Nanzhao Kingdom - Weishan Ancient City. The bluestone slabs meander towards Cangshan Mountain, the wooden doors of the old houses are half-closed with the fragrance of tea, there are no cookie-cutter shops, only the grandma squatting in the corner to bask in the sun and smile at you. This is Zhao Linger's hometown! The fireworks of the ancient Nanzhao Kingdom in "Legend of Sword and Fairy" are hidden in this living ancient city.    🏠And the Yihe Yunxi Jinshidi Hotel where I stayed is even more of a three-dimensional history book. The residence of the caravan merchants 130 years ago was reborn into four courtyards of "Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter" after four years of renovation, with a total of 15 rooms. The carved lintel locks the old times, and the moss covers the hexagonal bricks. The housekeeper said that even the floor tiles are reproduced according to the "armor horse pattern" of the year. No wonder every corner is like cutting a frame from an ancient painting. Strolling in the bamboo forest in the hotel, watching the big koi playing in the water, I always feel like I have traveled back a hundred years ago. 🚗The hotel provides pick-up and drop-off services, and it is also very convenient to get to the ancient city. I love the gentle time after nightfall. The hotel thoughtfully prepares creative Chinese dishes. The portion for two people is 6 dishes and 1 soup. The housekeeper laughed and said that the recipe originated from the family banquet of the horse gang, but I tasted the elegance of poetry and wine of the Nanzhao royal family. 🏯After dinner, the housekeeper drove a special car to take us to explore the ancient city at night. The eaves of the buildings at night hooked the crescent moon, and the stars fell into the century-old ancient city. When I returned, the lacquered wooden food box was waiting in the yard, and late-night sweet water was prepared in it. If it were not for time constraints, I would definitely stay here for a few more days. 🗻If you also want to take a break from the hustle and bustle, come to Weishan! Time here is very slow, slow enough to wait for a Tang plum blossom to fall on the tiles of the Qing Dynasty, and for the moonlight to flow through the corridors of the previous life.

The room is very clean, the facilities are complete, and the service is very good. There are alpacas and peacocks. Although it is in the ancient town, it really feels like a vacation. There is a business car to pick you up after leaving the high-speed rail station, and the dinner is also very rich.

We stayed in Weishan for two more days for Yunxi Hotel. The whole yard is like a small museum, and many of the window grilles, murals and beams are antiques. I heard from the founder sister that it took a lot of effort to renovate the old yard, which not only retained a lot of the original style, but also made it very comfortable to live in. When we first entered the hotel, the moonlight spilled into the courtyard and shone on the plum tree, which was really beautiful. The service in the hotel was also very warm, and everyone took care of us warmly and friendly. The housekeeper Sister Zhao was very gentle and almost responded to every request. She explained the design of the yard to us. Knowing that we loved to eat corn cakes, she specially added dishes for us at breakfast, which touched us several times. The sister in charge of the restaurant also had a full emotional value, especially for dinner. She would explain the origin of each dish, and her attentiveness once made me feel like I was eating a state banquet. There were also some small activities such as printing horses and feeding alpacas. The backyard also had its own cafe. We almost spent the next two days wandering around the hotel, and we didn't feel bored.

I came to Weishan Ancient City with my boyfriend and stayed at the Yihe Yunxi Jinshi Hotel. It was a real surprise! The ancient courtyard is very atmospheric, and any photo you take is a blockbuster! Breakfast and dinner are both local specialties, so delicious that you can't stop eating~ There are also peacocks, alpacas and cats in the hotel, which are so cute! You can also experience the handmade armor horse, which is super fun! The service is also very considerate, and the pick-up and drop-off are super convenient, so you don't have to worry about it at all~ I spent a super healing time here with my boyfriend, and I recommend it to all sisters! 💕
