"The hotel is modeled after a Beijing courtyard house and looks great in photos. The owner said it opened this year and is completely new, seemingly renovated from the former office compound. The floors and main structure are over a decade old, and the wall paintings are probably new, so there's no smell. It's much cleaner and tidier than most B&Bs. The owner's wife personally cleans everything, taking care of every detail. The owner and his wife are incredibly friendly and welcoming. There are two tea areas where you can chat and enjoy the fresh air. One neighbor mentioned staying at another B&B in the ancient city and finding it less pleasant, and they agreed. There's even a glass room upstairs for drying clothes. The hotel is very close to the Dafu Farmers Market, making it convenient for buying fruit and other things. It's a short cut to the ancient city, only about five or six minutes away. Our family of five stayed for nine nights and was very comfortable. It was a truly wonderful stay. Oh, and I highly recommend staying on the second floor for better ventilation! This place is nothing special; it's simply because the owner and his family are so kind. I appreciate this positive review! All the pictures are my own!"

"The biggest surprise of my Weishan trip was the 'Xishe' guesthouse! The entire courtyard is charmingly antique, with a truly unique design where every step reveals a new beautiful view. Sunbathing on the wooden veranda upstairs was incredibly therapeutic. Not only is the environment stunning, but the hospitality is also exceptional. The landlady is warm, generous, and incredibly elegant. During our stay, she helped us with many small daily issues, making us feel like we were visiting old friends – so warm and thoughtful. Finally, I have to give a special shout-out to the front desk lady: while relaxing at the guesthouse, I heard her playing songs by Chang Chen-yue and Stefanie Sun! They're all my favorite artists, her taste is simply divine! Listening to my favorite tunes in such a beautiful courtyard truly set the perfect ambiance. Full recommendation, I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Weishan!"

It's right next to the ancient town, making it super convenient for dining, accommodation, and getting around. I traveled with my parents. They stayed in a twin room, and we had a family room. The beds were huge, and the environment was very quiet, so we all had a wonderful night's sleep. The guesthouse's decor is beautiful; every corner just won me over. It's also very close to the Pioneer Bookstore, which was a great photo op. My daughter loved it too. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit."

"The newly opened hotel has well-equipped facilities, clean sanitation, good lighting but good shading of curtains, air conditioning is more powerful, and hot water is also sufficient. There is a car passing by outside the window that can hear a little bit, not much, and there are not many cars on the hotel side, which does not affect the rest. If there is a sound in the aisle, it can be heard relatively clear, but this is also a common problem in the hotel. The hotel is a little distance from the ancient city. It takes about 20 minutes to walk. It is recommended to scan a small yellow car. It is more convenient. If you ride a small yellow car, it will cost about four or five yuan. Then there are many parking spots in the ancient city."

"The Best Accommodation It isn't located right in the middle of the ancient town, so it isn't noisy, but it isn't far either; you can reach the center of the town with just a short walk. Although I don't speak a word of Chinese, they welcomed me via an interpreter and introduced me to the accommodation. I was touched when they asked if I had eaten dinner since I arrived late at night, perhaps intending to treat me to some. When I asked if there were any good places to eat nearby for breakfast, one of the brothers personally drove me to a restaurant. They even kindly came out to see me off when I checked out. Although it was a short 2-night, 3-day trip, Weishan Ancient Town and this accommodation were the best. If I ever come back, I will choose this accommodation without hesitation!"
