I would give a 10/10 if it's not because of the wifi in my room requires a Chinese number to activate. Otherwise, this hostel is a super gem, very clean, unbeatable location, friendly staff and has nice facilities

The owner was very helpful. He took 2hours time for me . He explain me how I pay the bill with Alipay and he called his friends, that I had a driver for the next morning to the railway station.

People there were lovely, but they should make the room a bit more comfortable, the bed was a rock, but I’m sure some like that. Add curtains for privacy and mosquito nettings as an option (I had to swat 10+ mosquitos in an hour, and just had dengue in 🇱🇰, so not ideal..). The entire room were snoring (snore-chestra lol) so I ended up leaving to a nearby hotel at 5 am in the morning. The staff and people were great, but you definitely get what you pay for. I’ve traveled for almost 6 years, but this is the first time I just had to leave in the middle of the night due to discomfort, if you can’t sleep through snoring (trust me the earplugs didn’t help), get annoyed by mosquitos and don’t like sleeping like Patrick Star you might have to look elsewhere. I hope they fix this cause the vibe and atmosphere is great.

Didn't see a single foreigner when I stayed here for over a week. Front desk is run by transient volunteers, so you may or may not have an English speaker (probably not). This place is pretty good. Nice common room and outside porch area. The dorms have their own bathroom which is nice. Location is really good. It's easy to walk to the riverside and a bunch of different food options/stores. A metro station (line 5) is about a 10 minute walk. For the price, I'd recommend this place. Just bring earplugs.

It wasn't international at all, staff only spoke Mandarin. Rooms were crowded, but you get what you pay for. Beds were spacious and comfortable.
Location was great, metro station is just 8 min away walking and Yellow Crane Tower 15 min.

The services was great. No-one of the staff is speaking English, but they were very helpful and they showed a lot of patience trying to understand me.
