The hotel is undergoing upgrades. The ceiling board are exposed. Heater was down, and not informed till we called the front desk to enquire. Its a smoking allowed hotel.

Negatives: no hot water (only available in the morning as heater wasn't working in the evening)

No hot water in the shower. People smoking in the breakfast restaurant.
Very poor selection for breakfast, especially for western
We arrived late and they were very nice and offered to bring it to the room. But when we got it, it was cold (beef, cauliflower and green beans).

The hotel is located near the Chaka Salt Lake. The hotel does offer room with oxygen supply for guests who are concern over high altitude sickness. We were there during low season and breakfast choices were very limited. I would like to comment on the wonderful service of the staff who went up and above to assist the us. The staff offered to take care of our laundry as timer on the dryer was not working and it's unclear when the laundry load can be dried. Would recommend this hotel to folks who plan to stay overnight in Chaka.

We had a beautiful stay at this very nice hotel! Rooms were big and comfy, the staff very caring and nice! We will definitely come back!

I can say that I stayed in Vienna to avoid pitfalls, but ended up falling into a pitfall. The hotel's oxygen supply was not turned on and the humidifier was very dirty.
