Very warm welcome from day 1 and each day for the duration of my stay. The food was excellent and the service was first class. The facility was clean and well maintained.

Roucase Boutique hotel offers a great value for money! You get a 5-star environment, amazing swimming pool, caring and hospitable staff and a spacious comfortable room for the price that is twice lower than other 5-star hotel options in China. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel for two days. Very good coffee and fresh juices at breakfast were a great plus! We were very grateful to the hotel staff for helping us with all our requests and will be happy to come again!

A true smoke-free service apartment. Service of staff is good. Reception went the extra mile in assisting to help book a cab when didi rejected our booking. Not fascinated by the breakfast, though it does get you fill-up. Liked the fermented beancurd with porridge. My kid likes the playroom located next to the breakfast area. He had a short session daily there after we had our breakfast.

The hotel is rated as a five-star hotel, but the interior is very old-fashioned and mediocre. The TV is equipment from 15 years ago, and the foreign signal cuts out every five minutes. Although we brought children and the hotel description mentioned child-related amenities, there were no children's bathrobes or slippers. After calling, we were given adult versions instead. The mattress was okay, but the water flow in the bathroom was almost non-existent, and the ceiling shower was basically unusable. When checking in, they directly informed us that there would be no hot water starting from 8 AM the next day, with no apologies, just saying that if you need hot water, don't use it after 8 AM the next day. This is the quality of their five-star rating.

Relaxing one night stay with a friend, RSun was a perfect place to chill. Thanks to the wonderful service from Turbo, smooth check in and room upgraded to a suite. His spoken English was good and he was very helpful during our stay. The suite was huge, beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. We made use of the hot springs and enjoyed our time there. We visited in February so the hotel and springs were not busy. Food in the restaurant was delicious local cuisine. We received special dish as it was the last day of the ***** new year holiday. We communicated using a translator app. I would have liked the downstairs bar to be open. There was a good breakfast selection which was refilled. I would choose to stay here again.

I would recommend the hotel for other foreign travellers. I appreciated very much, that even some people of the breakfast staff spoke English. Makes it much easier for guests, which cannot speak Mandarin. Everything else also on a very good standard.

I read the online reviews before coming here and was a little worried, after all, the hotel was last renovated in 2015 and 1952. But when I actually arrived and saw it with my own eyes, I was very shocked. The maintenance and overall feeling exceeded my expectations a lot, especially the guest rooms, which are far better than many five-star hotels in Shanghai. So I have already discussed with my family that I will choose Taihu Hotel again when I go to Wuxi next time. In addition, the service is also very good, from the front desk on the 5th floor to the room cleaning, as well as the Chinese restaurant Jichangxuan, the breakfast Yulan Hall, and the handsome concierge

I had a great stay here. Excellent bed, bath tub, swimming pool etc. The hotel is a little old and is tough to spot at first but I loved it here. It was nice and quiet, easy check in etc. Tons of things around, I recommend the ”#65 coffee shop” up the street. The pool was good. The changing room in the pool was a bit old but it didn't affect me. Nice gym. Staff were all very pleasant, easy to get deliveries etc. Would definitely stay again. Excellent for the price especially.

Hotel is 10 minutes taxi ride from Wuxi station. 100 metres from Center 66 luxury mall with many eateries nearby.

Last year, I stayed at Xuelang Songpin, and this year I chose the Lake View King Room at Sunac Shiboge Hotel Wuxi. The experience of staying there exceeded my original expectations. The hotel service is thoughtful. The customer service Xiao Li called us the day before check-in to inquire about our accommodation requirements and asked about our well-being. After arriving at the hotel, the front desk staff checked in quickly and enthusiastically. During our stay, both the restaurant waiters and the room cleaners greeted us with smiles and were polite, which made us feel warm. The 50-square-meter room is spacious, clean and very comfortable. Sitting on the balcony, you can enjoy the ducks swimming and playing on the clear lake, the slowly swaying cruise ships, and the flowers, plants and pavilions in the garden downstairs, which are pleasing to the eye. This is a memorable experience for us.
