Very hospitable receptionists (shout out to Sasha) who are eager to please and lend a hand! I did not use many of the facilities as I was mostly out and about, but it does have a charming beauty to it. Might be a bit confusing getting to the place, and taxi's might leave you at the start of the alley where the hotel is, but the area is safe and there are markets on both ends of the alley and cool restaurants (including a coffee shop) on the same street. I do wish there was more than one laundry machine, but just having one available to use is a plus. Beautiful deck area on the roof! Didi's are cheap and easy to use from here. Would recommend.

A really pretty and traditional hotel with friendly and accommodating staff, clean and quiet with a beautiful roof garden and tea room and a free laundry. Situated right by the city wall it’s not far by Didi to the main sights. I’d choose this hotel again if visiting Xi’an.

We had a very positive time in Xian. The hotel room was spacious, clean and very modern. The staff was always kind and helpful and they offered us free early check in.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons:
• There are some caged animals (cats, ducks) around the hotel that really ought to be given some roaming space.
• The ensuite toilet would auto-flush, making for not-so-subtle nighttime bathroom visits for people sharing a room.

This is great hotel.
First of all, location. Xian is charging. It means old Xian is dispearing but this area isn't. In the back of Old wall, old and present Xian are living together. Hotel has an aspect of old Xian and inside of hotel has modern Xian with clean and spacious room, comfortable bed sheet and table.
Another good point is super kind staffs. They are not good at English but their effort for visitors is enthusiastic so makes guest feel comfortable. Esepcially Sha sha was excellent

Every bathroom has its own imperfection like faulty water heater, clogged sink due the age of the hotel, but overall stay is okay and comfortable. Room is bright and clean with nice view.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and patient, willing to help at any time and any problem, location is convenient, next to local restaurants and the ancient wall, definitely recommend it.
