great location. About 6mins walk to the Drum Tower and Huimin Street (Muslim Street Food) which is literally behind the Drum Tower. About 7mins walk to Xi’an City Wall and 10 mins walk to the Bell Tower.
the 2 ladies who checked me in were very helpful and warm, despite the language barrier. But lobby was a bit terrible. Room was very nice and comfortable.
What i want to point out is the inaccurate description of this hotel in Trip.com.
1) just put Qiaokou Metro Station in the hotel name. no need for Xi'an Huimin Street, as it confuses the locals when i showed them the name of the hotel.
2) the "address in local language" feature u have, gives out the name of ANOTHER james joyce hotel (which my driver took me to, and has a very rude staff who screamed NO to me when i asked about my reservation)
3) this is the most important part - ADD METRO LINE 6 - to the descrition & title of the hotel. Xi'an Metro has 14 lines, so putting Line 6 to the hotel name would help so many travellers.

I have stayed here several times. After all, it is in the city center, the price is relatively affordable, the hotel staff is also very enthusiastic, and it is also close to the Bell Tower Muslim Street.
